The list of airports with a "mystery"

May 14, 2012 Mr.
Tourists can get confused and run into various problems during the trip, when the name of the airport
does not coincide with the place where it is.
This may introduce a traveling misleading and lead to many problems.
This is especially true when, in pursuit of lower prices on airline tickets, people do not pay attention to
the arrival airport. Here they are often waiting for a nasty surprise: the airport at which they land, takes
the name of the place, located 100 km away.
Publication of the Spanish edition of 20minutos compiled a list of the most "misleading" Airports:
Orlando MCO Airport – 80 Km from Disney World (data from: http://www.oriontransportation.com/)
París-Vatry (Disney) - 150 Km from the center of Paris and 112 Km from Disneyland Paris
Múnich West (Memmingen) - 112 Km from the center of Munich
Oslo (Torp) - 110 Km from the center of Oslo
Frankfurt (Hahn) - 110 Km from the center of Frankfurt
García Lorca Granada-Jaén -106 Km from Jaén (but 17 Km from Granada)
London (Oxford) - 97 Km from the center of London
Stockholm (Skavsta) - 95 Km from the center of Stockholm
París (Beauvais) - 88 Km from the center of Paris
Dusseldorf (Weeze) - 80 Km from the center of Düsseldorf
Londres (Stansted) - 64 Km from the center of London
Londres (Southend) - 64 Km from the center of London
Verona (Brescia) - 53 Km from the center of Verona
Glasgow (Prestwick) - 51 Km from the center of Glasgow
So, wanting to save money, many are forced to pay double the price and then to get to the desired
location.
