Smack seized :- Lahori Gate police have arrested one Karun Sekh, 20 years R/o
Shaheed Basti, Lahori Gate under NDPS Act. According to DCP/North office, acting
upon a tip off he was arrested from old Delhi Railway Station following the recovery of 5
grams smack from his possession.

Proclaimed Offenders arrested :- Kotwali police arrested one namely Hafiz, 24 years,
a vagabond of Lajpat Rai market area, yesterday. According to DCP/North office, a local
Court had declared him proclaimed offender in a case of Arms Act P.S. Kotwali.
       Likewise Lahori Gate police arrested one Khaliq-Ur-Rehman, 36 years R/o Hauz
Rani yesterday. He was also declared P.O. by the Tis Hazari Court in a case of Arms Act
P.S. Lahori Gate.

Public help is sought in identifying the dead bodies :- Railway Main Delhi police
have sought public help in identifying the following bodies :-
   1.     A male, aged around 60 years, Ht. 5’2”, sallow complexion, long face,
          wearing grey shirt, blue jersey and white dhoti, found on 4.12.07.
   2.     A female, aged around 60/65 years, Ht. 5’, wheatish complexion, long face,
          wearing black stripped jersey and black lower, found on 4.12.07.
Sarai Rohilla Railway police have sought public help in identifying the following
bodies:-
   1.     A male, aged around 30/35 years, Ht. 5’6”, sallow complexion, long face,
          medium built, wearing pink shirt, white vest and black pants, found on
          4.12.07.
   2.     A male, aged around 28/30 years, Ht. 5’5”, wheatish complexion, round face,
          medium built, wearing grey shirt, white vest and pants, found on 4.12.07.

          THREE INVOLVED IN HUMAN TRAFFICING ARRESTED
        With the arrest of three persons, namely 1). Rakesh Gandhi @ Mahender Gandhi
s/o Sh Mulkh Raj Gandhi, 2). Nirmal Singh s/o Joginder Singh and          3). Charanjeet
Singh s/o Surender Singh Outer District Special staff has busted a gang of Cheaters who
use to lure innocent people by falsely representing them to send them abroad by
arranging passports, visa and other documents. The Gang was operating in northern states
of India.
BRIEF FACTS
        On 05.12.07, at about 03.15 PM, secret information was received by the special
staff of Outer District that a few persons who are members of Human Trafficing Racket
would be coming near Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Sector-5, Rohini Delhi to deliver
some Bogus Passports. If raid is conducted, they may be apprehended and thus racket can
be busted. A special team comprising of SI Jasmohinder Chaudhari, HC Rishi Ram, HC
Yogesh Kumar, Ct Hari Chand, Ct Suresh and Ct Rajesh was constituted under the
supervision of Insp Bishan Mohan and overall guidance of Sh P S Rana, ACP Operations
was formed. At about 06.45 PM, Special staff personnel were present in the area of PS
Rohini near Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Sector 5, Rophini, Delhi and apprehended
above mentioned three persons while they were in possession of Two Bogus Passports.
ACTION TAKEN:
      Case registered vide FIR No. 1124/07 dated 05.12.07 u/s 420/467/468/120B IPC,
PS Rohini, Delhi.


PROFILE:
       Accused Nirmal Singh and Charanjeet Singh belongs to Punjab whereas Rakesh
Gandhi @ Mahender Gandhi is a permanent resident of Vikaspuri, Delhi. Charanjeet
Singh is also presently living in Khajoori Khas area of Delhi and is involved in procuring
Air Tickets to the required. Mahender Gandhi is also involved in the business of Air
Ticketing. Few days before Mahender Gandhi came in contact of one Sharma Ji residing
somewhere in the outskirts of Delhi who informed him that he can get the bogus Passport
arranged and Visa given on passports if required by anyone. One Jeevan Kaushal of
NawanSahar, Punjab was aspiring to go to America near his uncle at Boston Town. In the
recent past, Nirmal singh had sent one Yogesh to America who informed it to the uncle
of Jeevan in Boston, America to contact Nirmal. Accordingly, Jeevan contacted Nirmal, a
resident of Hoshiarpur, Punjab who assured him to help him out in sending him to
America. Jeevan never knew that he (Nirmal) is going to send him to America by
fraudulent means. Nirmal, with the help of Mahender and Charanjeet got prepared a fake
passport for Jeevan and was luring him by showing dreamy projects when they were
apprehended with bogus passports. Their modus operandi is to show innocent people
such dreamy projects and to grab huge amount of money from them. They have no
concern whether one reaches to his destination or not.


ACCUSED ARRESTED:
         1. Rakesh Gandhi @ Mahender Gandhi s/o Sh Mulkh Raj Gandhi
            r/o H. No GG-1/39C Vikas Puri, Delhi. (Age 50 Years)
         2. Nirmal Singh s/o Joginder Singh R/o Vill Sherpur Pacca, PO Phagowal, PS
            Haryana Distt Hoshiarpur, Punjab (Age 46 Years)
         3. Charanjeet Singh s/o Surender Singh r/o C-90, Gali N o. 8C, Khajoori Khas,
            Delhi 94. (Age 44 years)

RECOVERY:
         a.) One Passport No. B 2534357 in the name of one Balvinder Singh issued
             from Delhi.
         b.) One Passport No. B 5229022 in the name of one Rajender Singh Walia
             issued from Jalandhar, Punjab.
