Upcoming Apollo anniversary events and news conferences: NASA has just announces a schedule of events to commemorate the achievements of the Apollo program and the 40th anniversary of the first lunar landing. Among the activities is a news conference with astronauts from several Apollo mission scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. (EDT) on July 20, 2009. The July 20 news conference will be carried live on NASA TV, and the Agency's internet homepage.
