In order to Start a Manual Backup to iCloud from an iPhone or iPad do the following; You'll need iOS 5+ and iCloud, and a Wi-Fi connection for this to work: 1. On your IPhone home page, Launch the "Settings" app by double tapping on it. 2. In the settings, scroll down through the various items and Double Tap on "iCloud" 3. Now scroll to the bottom right side of the ICloud screen where you'll find and double tap on "Storage & Backup". 4. Navigate down with your finger to near the bottom right side of the current screen and double tap on "Back Up Now" Notes:iOS will give you an estimated time before the backup is complete, and there's a progress bar to watch too. You can navigate down to this progress bar which is located near the bottom of the current screen. Once you have highlighted it with your finger just leave it and as it updates itself VoiceOver will indicate this change to you so you'll know when its near completion. It's generally fairly quick but since it's uploading to iCloud it is partially dependent on your internet connection speed.
