Goal: Comparing Ecosystems

Procedure: Research each of the Biomes: Rain Forest, Desert,
Grassland (Savanna), Deciduous Forest (Temperate Forest), Boreal
Forest (Taiga), Tundra, Mountain and Ice (Alpine), Fresh water and
Marine. You may work with a partner if you wish. Please be careful
choosing someone. If they do not do the work your grade may suffer.
Most students will work alone.

Directions: Create a flip book. Each page of the book will have a
Biome listed and the following information:
     1. Physical Features of the Biome.
     2. Rainfall
     3. Temperature
     4. Geographical locations (Map)
     5. Types of Animals
     6. Types of Plants
     7. Color drawing of the biome.

        Create a Venn diagram. Compare two ecosystems. This is done on
        an individual basis. You can not do the same one of anyone in your
        group.

        Choices: Rainforest/ Temperate forest, Tundra/Taiga,
        Desert/Grasslands, Freshwater/Marine or Temperate forest/Taiga.
