Applicability: Federal awards (grants, subgrants,
loans, awards, cooperative agreements, contracts
(FAR), and other forms of financial assistance)
Made available to the public via a single searchable
website: usaspending.gov
Certification of Filing and
Payment of Federal Taxes
Requirements

Certificate of Filing and
Payment of Federal Taxes
Certify that applicant has filed all Federal
tax returns required within the last three
years;
Certify that applicant has no criminal
offence related to filing taxes;
Applicant has not been notified of any
unpaid Federal tax assessments that remain
unsatisfied (unless an agreement with IRS
has been made).
Certificate of Filing
Payment of Federal Taxes
Applies to all grants, cooperative
agreements, and FAR contracts.
Dollar Threshold - $5,000,000 or
more.
Standard term of award for all awards
at or over the aforementioned
threshold.
Standard Receipt Dates for
Continuation Applications
All continuation applications are due to
Grants Operations at least 120 days
prior to the budget start date of the
award.
Due date is based on the budget start
date of the award.
Timely awards.
