       The Bishop’s Fund for Children provides financial support for dozens of valuable
youth service programs and projects within Connecticut, some offered by Episcopal
parishes and some by other organizations. The annual Bishop’s 5 K for Kids, the BFC’s
major fundraiser, will be held Saturday morning, May 15, 2010 at Webster Hill
Elementary School, West Hartford. This is a diocesan-wide event enjoyed by both
runners and walkers. For more information, registration and pledge forms, go to

       Volunteers are needed to monitor the race route, manage water stops, and to
greet and register entrants. Teenagers and adults are invited to volunteer by contacting

       Occasionally in life there are events that are both fun and worthwhile. The annual
Bishop’s 5 K for Kids is such an event.
       The road race will be held Saturday morning, May 15, at Webster Hill Elementary
School in West Hartford. This is a diocesan-wide event enjoyed by runners and walkers.
