Recently there was some mention in regards to the “Phantom” Chopper and having it listed in the
2010 financials as inventory $32,000 worth of inventory. The Chopper has been a bit of a mystery
for some and it seems others might have some insight as to what is really going on. The problem is
I only get an anonymous e-mail stating;
The Motorcycle from alaska was for the benefit of a few schools. The agreement between Usat
and those invloved is hard to believe. I encourage you to investigate further.
Someone must have told Mr. Anonymous that I would take the time to “investigate further” and so
I did! There is so much I hope you will be able to follow along it is a wonderful mystery that will
leave you wondering once again what the hell is wrong with this organization!
Let’s start with 2010 Nationals
Exciting News: Primal's very own Master Shearer was awarded a Citation of Merit from the
World Taekwondo Federation and USAT in recognition of his dedicated service and outstanding
contribution to the development of Taekwondo during Wednesdays opening ceremonies at the
Junior Olympics/Senior Nationals. This award is given rarely and it is a great honor for Master
Shearer to be recognized at both the national and international level.
The Primal Martial Arts and J. Park Sponsored Martial Arts Chopper was a huge hit during it's
unveiling at the Opening Ceremonies. In the days prior, Master McConarty and Master Shearer
spent time with the USA Olympians that lent their signatures to the paint scheme of the bike in
support. Diana Lopez had been in Alaska 2 weeks prior and both her and brother Steven were
very excited to see the bike in Orlando.
Merit-claim to respect and praise; excellence; worth.
that deserves or justifies a reward orcommendation; a commendable quality,
Many wonder how it was that Jay Shearer received such a prestigious ward when most are reserved
for those who have spent a life time of services within the sport. It is not even clear that he even
has a background in Taekwondo and allegedly never even earned his black belt but rather
His business profile extends back to 2 failed flower companies; Artic Blossoms 1997 and Boniface
Flower Market 1998. You will read more on that later. He also was a parent/student at another
local school and legend has it that one day during testing a verbal altercation pursued between him
and the Master over his dissatisfaction when the Master refused to allow him to sell Martial Arts
uniforms and equipment on his school web-site. Allegedly he left the school and threatened the
school and the master that he was going to open a school and put his out of business. Perhaps
that solves the mystery as to why some could not understand this Merit Award! Makes sense to
me why some would be rather ticked off!
So Primal Martial Arts was opened, try to follow along as this is going to become really confusing!
Certificate of Merit, but yet he did not even own a school until 2008 and as you can see it is not
listed in his name. It is under Lisa McConarty, and that the business had to be put in her name
due to financial issues from his failed flower shops. FYI -She might want to renew as the school
has been “expired” for a year!
Here is the school, look what is next to the school! Yes that is “Phantom Choppers” to the left and
to the right we have “Winter Windows” What do they all have in common? Let’s take a look!
Well isn’t that interesting! Lynda Truett owned Phantom Choppers at the time the deal was made
with USAT, Mr. Certificate of Merit did not take ownership until January 2011! But wait the
mystery of Lynda Truett get better.
If you go to the USAT web-site school clubs it list that Jay Sheare with Primal Martial Arts and
Lisa McConarty as haveing another school (Primal arts 2 )570 South Knik St. Wasila Alaska.
Let’s take a look at what is at that address!
Does that look like a Martial Arts school ?? No it is Winter Wonder Blinds! Again Rumor has
it there is NO second school, but somehow that gives them both a VOTE! Imagine that!
There seems to be a lot of History with Lynda and Jay and I don’t know what the relationship is,
maybe Mr. Anonymous can send me another e-mail and fill in the blank!
What we do know by looking at records is they have had a long standing history with businesses.
Phantom Choopers at one time was Phantom Cycles (2003) owned by Lynda Truett, an
AUTOMOBILE AND OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE MERCHANT WHOLESALERS
2002 it was phantom cycles of Alaska, and 2005 Phantom Choppers an RECREATIONAL
VEHICLE DEALER. Try to remember the description of the business it is going to come clear
later in the Mystery!
Okay so now comes the purpose of the Chopper!
Martial Arts Chopper
Primal Martial Arts in conjunction with J. Park Taekwondo and USA-Taekwondo (member of the
US Olympic Commitee) have joined forces in a National Compaign to raise money and awareness
to support USA Olympic athletes and up and coming Taekwondo Athletes.
(You spelled Committee and Campaign wrong! )
A Martial Arts Chopper will be constructed, signed by US Olympians, and then taken around the
country to various Taekwondo Events and Custom Motorcycle Events. Primal Martial Arts is a
proud supporter of USA-Taekwondo as their mission is the development of coaches and athletes
to represent our great country in the years to come. Please join us by showing your support of the
I never seen any of this posted on the USAT Web-site have you?
As you can see the contact is the USA Taekwondo, let take a closer look at who owns this web-site.
One would think that Jay Shearer or USA Taekwondo would own it, but No…..
Phantom Cycle USA Domain Name: MARTIALARTSCHOPPER.COM
Interesting! Not Phantom Choppers, but Phantom Cycles USA. Legend has it that is because
they tried to sell this idea to another school years ago and they did not go for it! That is where
desperate Dave stepped in and again allegedly some pretty nice deals were made in exchange for
the chopper! I have heard everything from Seminars with Olympians, to free admission to events,
awards! All kinds of PERKS!
Silly Davie however did not do his research on “Phantom Choppers”
Let’s see what California Customs has to say! RAWWWWT ROW!
And they were once doing business together…
"PLACES LIKE PHANTOM CHOPPERS SHOULD BE RUN OUT OF OUR INDUSTRY"
- JOE CREE
PHANTOM CHOPPER PHUN PHACTS
1-CLAIMS TO BE A REAL CUSTOM SHOP, DON'T THINK SO. THEY CAN'T BUY
FROM MOST DISTRIBUTORS BECAUSE THEY AREN'T A REAL SHOP, THEY'RE
2- CLAIMED TO BE A LICENSED BUILDER BUT PIGGYBACKED ON CALIFORNIA
CUSTOMS' LICENSE FOR PART OF 2004 AND ALL 2005.
3- USED CALIFORNIA CUSTOMS VINS AND APPRAISAL BOOK LISTINGS TO LOOK
LEGIT TO CUSTOMERS.
4- THEY HAVE NOBODY THAT'S KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT BUILDING BIKES OR
5- CLAIM TO BUILD THEIR OWN FRAMES WHEN THEY'RE ACTUALLY BUILT
BACK EAST SOMEWHERE.
6- CLAIMS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE "PHANTOM" BRAKE LINE DESIGN ON
THE AMERICAN SUSPENSION FORKS WHEN IT'S OBVIOUSLY NOT TRUE.
7- ALSO CLAIMS TO HAVE DESIGNED THE EFM AUTO CLUTCH FOR USE ON THE
BDL PRIMARY DRIVES, ANOTHER LIE.
8- CLAIMS TO BE EPA CERTIFIED WHEN THEY'RE ACTUALLY PIGGYBACKING
ON ANOTHER SHOP'S CERTIFICATION.
9- ALL OF THEIR PARTS ARE DROP SHIPPED FROM THE DISTRIBUTORS,
FURTHER EVIDENCE THEY ARE A CYBER ONLY SHOP WHICH IS THE SCOURGE
OF OUR INDUSTRY IN OUR OPINION.
10- THEIR NEW LINE OF COMPLETE BIKES IS BEING BUILT BY ANOTHER SHOP,
NOT EVEN BUILT BY A PHANTOM SHOP.
11- THEY CLAIM TO HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1999, WE CAN'T FIND ANY
EVIDENCE THIS SHOP EXISTED ANYTIME PRIOR TO 2001.
12- ACCORDING TO THE MIC 2006 MANUFACTURER'S LIST PHANTOM CHOPPERS
IS NOT A LICENSED MANUFACTURER.
THESE 11 FACTS ARE REASONS WHY WE WILL NO LONGER BE ASSOCIATED
WITH PHANTOM CHOPPERS AS OF JANUARY 1, 2006. WE FEEL WE HAVE BEEN
LIED TO EITHER BY OMISSION OR JUST PLAIN BALD FACED LIES. WE HAVE
BEEN CONTACTED BY SEVERAL PEOPLE THAT HAVE HAD BAD DEALINGS
WITH THIS SHOP OR HAVE INFORMED US OF THINGS LIKE MEETING
CUSTOMERS IN SHOPPING CENTER PARKING LOTS TO DELIVER PARTS. HE
CLAIMS TO BE A BRICK AND MORTAR SHOP BUT WE FIND NO EVIDENCE THIS
IS TRUE. WE WILL NOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH CYBER ONLY SHOPS. THE NAME
PHANTOM SEEMS APPROPRIATE FOR THIS SHOP SINCE NOBODY HAS
ACTUALLY SEEN IT.
THIS E-MAIL WAS SENT TO ME ( JOE) BY SOMEONE WHO OBVIOUSLY KNOWS
ABOUT JAY AND HIS B.S.
( I am pretty sure BS stand for Bullshit)
I can't begin to explain how relieved I was to read your "Phantom Phun Phacts" page on
Phantom Choppers! I have SOOOOOO many stories of his lies and complete BS, it could
probably fill up a 1,000 page book - I've dealt with him in 2004 and 2005 (when I didn't know any
better - I was just another person that was duped by him), and even bought about 75% of the parts
from him for the bike that I'm building. He was working closely with Mike Matthews from
"Kickstand Products" or "KAMI Corporation" or whatever they were calling themselves, and I even
went to the 2004 "Bike Building Boot Camp" in Las Vegas. I couldn't believe how easily one LIE
after another came out of his mouth......It's literally to the point where he could be diagnosed by a
psychiatrist as "dillusional".
I'm pretty sure he even convinced himself that he owns a "shop". He claimed that he
developed the "Phantom brake line" for American Suspension, and even had the balls to find
random R&D pictures from the internet and display them as his at the boot camp! He also
claimed that Prowler transmissions build their hydraulic actuators "to his specs".
There was one time when he said he has a guy named "Animal" who works in his shop, and
after he (Jay A.K.A. "Phantom") told one of their frame manufacturers that if they sent them
another bent frame, they are going to throw it through their (the manufacturer's) window - He then
told me they did receive another bent frame, and they flew to California and threw the frame
through their front window, and when I said it was a good thing he didn't get arrested, he laughed
and said that he did.
His wife, or girlfriend (he interchanged them during the boot camp) actually owns the company
"Phantom Choppers", because from what I heard, he used to own a flower shop, and it went
bankrupt, so he wasn't able to get credit from any bank, so the business is in her name. That's why
he can only accept PayPal, since no merchants will let him accept credit cards.
A few months ago, I called his "shop" to see if he was still in business, and a woman answered.
I asked if Jay was available, and she said "he's with a customer right now, do you want me to take a
message?" I was like no, that's ok, I'll call back later - WHAT CUSTOMERS????? IT'S NOT A
I'm not sure if you know or not, but the closest you'll get to seeing the actual "shop" is his wife's
other business "Winter Windows" - The website is http://www.winterwindowsak.com - Check the
store location on the website, then look at the "shop" location on the Phantom Choppers
website.....IT'S THE SAME EXACT ONE!!!!!!
Do a whois lookup on winterwindowsak.com and phantomchoppers.com - See any
Feel free to publish ANY and ALL of what I just told you, because this fraud needs to be
outed 10 times over. I only ask that you don't use my name or e-mail address if you post the
information, because I don't want any issues in the future.
Write me back when you get a chance and we could compare notes. I'm curious to know how
much of the same stuff you heard about "Phantom Choppers" that I mentioned.

2005 Action Auto Body Custom Frame Complaints
Complaint Number: 10335484 Incident Date: June 2, 2010 Date Added to File: June 9,
Description of the Complaint:
While riding my 2005 phantom chopper on the highway, the down tube cracked. Not the welds.
The frame. I was able to stop the bike. After contacting manufacture I sent him pictures. He
basically told me its not his problem. I had the bike towed to a reputable shop and they said the
down tube should be thicker with larger gusseting or support rods because of the rake of the
chassis. If frame cracked all the way the front forks would have ripped my head off. The bike is
not listed in your selection. It's a 2005 phantom chopper. Model devastator 300. I did some
research and found out that he designed it and he was warned that it would probably
If I remember correctly , he screwed barefoot choppa on a title , think he said it was
a stolen title or something like that . Man was he pissed
(take the time to read the entire thread, it explains so much)
Hey jay. I won't go away. Why don't you answer your phone or return messages ?
My bike shop has been trying to get in touch with you all week. They need to talk to
you. Why don't you be a man and talk to them.
They just want to tell you that your product has a few minor flaws with it. You know .
The little problem with your frames cracking. All you have to do is give me a new
chassis and pay for the frame swap and will go away. Balls in your court. Guy i
bought bike from said you were a real nice guy. He doesn't think that anymore since
i told him what you said and showed him the pictures. Pretty funny that i did a little
research and found out a little item about your past frame builder. You know what
i'm talking about. If any one has a 2005 devastator 300 pro street don't ride it. Im
lucky to be alive. Well according to jay ,he would rather be talking to my widow and
her atty. Take a look at my beautiful pile of shit!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question? If the same thing happened with the USAT Raffle bike and the winner
was Killed who would be liable????
Words from Jay!
Really now is the moment of truth on those welds. Powdercoat doesn't cover welds,
it magnifies them. If any of your welds looked like shit before powdercoat, they look
like goat fuck now.
I wonder if this Master says that in Class….Hey Kid your Roundhouse looks like
Didn’t Mandy Meloon refer to Davie as a Silly Goat?
Oh I almost forgot let’s take a look at his web-site Phantom Choppers!
I can only imagine that this was the final Sales pitch! That’s a nice representation
for the USA Taekwondo a member of the United States Olympic Committee! It’s a
shame that Elite Taekwondo ( When it was affiliated with the Lopez family) was not
a special touch!

Well I am sure they would have, but they are no longer elite they are Lopez
I will say however that the person who did the airbrushing is extremely talented.
No that is not Peter Bardatsos, that is Douglas Arnold in the picture with Sinister
Air Brushing. He also has a Facebook page
His Photo’s list “OYMPIC BIKE SHOW”
Apparently the bike was show at several bike shows as the “Olympic Bike”
There is so much more on the usage of the words “OLYMPIC”
Over on the far right I do believe I see USA and the OLYMPIC Rings!
Are those the OLYMPIC Rings on the BIKE??? Well yes they are!
Olympic Signatures, I wonder other than the Lopez Family did they have signed
releases from those “Olympians” that are listed on the bike?? Why is Jean’s Name
Okay so we seem to have some issues with the use of the words Olympic and the use
of the Olympic Rings. I wonder if Eric Parthen’s Knew about this, after all he was
over the sport!
So remember the allegations that Jay walked out of his school because the Master
would not allow him to sell Martial Arts products on his school web-site? Let’s go
back to the Martial Arts Chopper Website that was “created for the raffle of the
Martial Arts Gear
Compare this page with his web-site page, it is the exact same items listed. So what
was the deal that Davie made?
Remember the contact on this site is USAT; the owner of the Web-site is Lynda
Truett who also at the time was the owner of Phantom Choppers. Why would the
USAT list a web-site to raffle off a Chopper that also had a link to sell Martial Arts
Gear? Was that part of the Deal? There is also a link for bike Parts.
So in the end was this really about the Athletes? Was this about raising money for
the Athletes? Or was this another “let’s make a deal” in the end who got
SCREWED? I would think the “ATHLETES” considering the USAT put money
out on this bike….$34,000 worth! Just sitting in the USAT Truck Leaking oil!
Probably a good thing if this bike was also built with a faulty frame that could have
ended up killing someone!
Note to self, Remind Alsaska State Taekwondo Association to look into whether or
not Primal Martials Arts has 2 schools or is this really a way to gain an extra vote?
Send information to USOC in regards to the use of the rings and labeling the bike as
an Olympic bike!
I am certain that this is just the tip of the iceberg, but hopefully it cleared up a few
things about the Chopper, maybe why Davie was not such a brilliant CEO and why
the USAT should always check into things before they do business.
