                                     Early Life

           » Born on January 15, 1929 in
             Atlanta, Georgia.
           » His parents were Martin Luther
             King Sr. and Alberta Williams
             King.
           » Martin had a brother named
             Alfred, and a sister, Christine.
            Mid Years

Martin  attended Morehouse College
 at age fifteen.
Graduated Morehouse in 1951.
Attended Boston University in

              Later Years


 Became a pastor of the Dexter Avenue
  Baptist Church in 1954.
 In 1963, Martin led the March on
  Washington and gave his speech “I
  Have A Dream”
 Martin Luther King was assassinated in
  1968.

We chose Martin because he is a
 good leader.
