                                                      engaging NEET young people in Cumbria, using triathlon sporting activities. This
                                                      will improve the confidence, motivation and self esteem of beneficiaries and
                                                      reduce anti-social behaviour in the area.
 Brookhouse Primary School      Blackburn with Darwen This primary school in Blackburn will use funding to run an after-school multi-skills
                                                      club. This will enable young people in the community to develop their physical and
                                                      social skills with the aim to improve self esteem and confidence.
    Seen to be Heard CIC        Blackburn with Darwen This group in Blackburn will use funding to provide a sign language course for
                                                      staff, parents, carers and community members. This will enable the services of the
                                                      group to be to be more accessible to deaf parents who attend the centre.

       Team Edge CIC                  Blackpool           This group in Blackpool will use funding to purchase gym equipment. This will
                                                          enable the group to open a new community gym facility in the local area.
 Beacon Bolton Counselling              Bolton            This counselling group in Bolton will use funding to provide specialist training for

The Women's Centre Burnley              Burnley           This women's group based in Burnley will use funding to run workshops for

                                                          services. This will help to reduce the isolation of people with learning difficulties,
                                                          helping them to access community services.
   Friends of Runcorn Hill          Cheshire East         This charity in Runcorn will use funding to undertake training to gain new skills
                                                          including safe sampling techniques, species identification and improved record
                                                          keeping. This will enable the group to improve the biological management of the
                                                          site. In addition, the group will hold community education days for local schools in
                                                          the area.
       CycleKnutsford               Cheshire East         This cycling group in Knutsford will use funding to produce a map depicting safe
                                                          cycle routes around the town, which will benefit members of the community. This
                                                          will provide people of all ages with the knowledge of how to get around town
                                                          safely on their cycles.
  Fairview Allotment Society     Cheshire East, Wirral    This community group in Birkenhead, Wirral will use funding to improve the
                                                          security and facilities on the site. This will provide their members with facilities to
                                                          work on their plots for longer in a secure environment.
   Huntington Community           Cheshire West and       This school in Chester will use funding to create a wildlife and wilderness area in

 Moore Community Activities             Halton            This voluntary group will use funding to provide activities for retired, semi-retired

                                                          them to run regular weekly sessions to help alleviate loneliness and isolation.

   Halebank Angling Club                Halton            This voluntary group in Widnes, Cheshire, will use funding to build a path and
                                                          fishing pegs around a pond in Halebank Park. This will enable older and disabled
                                                          residents to make use of the facilities and take part in community activities.

St Wulstan's Catholic Primary         Hyndburn            This school in the Hyndburn area of Lancashire will use funding to create a wildlife
   School, Great Harwood                                  and fitness trail. This will provide an outdoor area for the school and community.

 C.A.D.W.A. Friendship Club            Knowsley           This community group in Liverpool will use funding to hold a health and beauty
                                                          day for members, which will include Tai Chi, Keep Fit sessions and a talk on
                                                          healthy eating. This will encourage beneficiaries to stay active and keep them
                                                          informed of how to live a healthy lifestyle as they get older.
 Merseyside Youth Matter Ltd           Knowsley           This youth group in Merseyside will use funding to purchase a minibus. This will
                                                          allow the group to engage young adults to build confidence and self esteem with
                                                          disadvantaged young people through fitness activities.
Moorside Community Primary            Lancashire          This primary school in Lancashire will use funding to redesign an area of the

                                             activity. This will remove current barriers and create more accessible gym
                                             facilities.
 The Fazakerley Community        Liverpool   This voluntary group in Fazakerley, Liverpool will use funding to renovate and

                                             potential.
     The Anthony Walker          Liverpool   This charity in Liverpool will use funding to deliver a young ambassadors project,

                                             will bring young people together to raise awareness of bullying and hate crime,
                                             while also increasing the groups capacity to reach out to more young people.

  Friends of Rodney Fields      Manchester   This friends group in Manchester will use funding to improve the entrance of the
                                             fields with a fence and gate and also install a welcome sign with contact details. A
                                             wooden fox will also be installed at the entrance and nature days and educational
                                             sessions on the environment will be held around this. This will provide a safe
                                             environment where the local community can go to learn about the environment.

    Black Health Agency         Manchester   This charity based in Manchester will use funding to run a young people's
                                             conference, which will consist of workshops such as confidence, drug awareness
                                             and health. This will help to engage young people and increase their awareness of
                                             the major issues affecting them, while giving them the opportunity to work with
                                             different groups.
      Brink Inc Limited         Manchester   This organisation based in Manchester will use funding to provide fashion
                                             workshops for young people which will culminate in a fashion show. This will give
                                             young people the opportunity to learn new skills, create their own style and
                                             signpost them into education and employment.
    Manchester Academy          Manchester   This school in Manchester will use funding to enable the school to become a Duke
                                             of Edinburgh operating centre. This will allow the school to be self reliant and give
                                             the pupils the chance to complete the course during their time at the school.

      The Mustard Tree          Manchester   This charity in Manchester will use funding to set up a theatre workshop and stage
                                             theatre productions on a range of social issues. This will help clients overcome
                                             their problems and educate the wider community in the issues they face.

     Manchester Lesbian         Manchester   This community group in Manchester will use funding to offer literacy and basic

                                             parents to participate in physical, cultural and well-being activities. The project will
                                             also offer opportunities for volunteers to train and eventually develop community
                                             clubs.

                                             people aged 18 to 25. This will enable participants to gain new skills in identified
                                             topics of interest.

                                                 training. This will develop their understanding of working with the third sector and
                                                 disadvantaged groups and provide residents with opportunities not currently
                                                 available to them.

                                                 will the develop various skills of students, including the English of migrant workers,
                                                 IT skills development and the ability to improve social skills through experiences
                                                 and discussions.
Wargrave CofE Primary School      St. Helens     This school in St Helens will use funding to create an outside community
                                                 playground and shelter facility. This will provide the community of Newton-le-
                                                 Willows with access to opportunities and activities that are currently not available.

     Beacon Counselling           Stockport      This charity in Stockport will use funding to establish a counselling group for
                                                 unemployed disabled people in Stockport. This will provide the beneficiaries with
                                                 the opportunity to develop their life skills and progress towards paid employment.

   St Bernadette's Catholic       Stockport      This school in Brinnington, Stockport will use funding to run a community Opera

                                                 together, increasing confidence, social skills and give skills to build sustainable

 Hyde Bangladesh Welfare          Tameside       This charity in Hyde, Cheshire will use funding to provide disabled access at the
