To study the effect of attitude towards modern trends, gender, stream
and school on scholastic achievement of Ashram and Navodaya
Vidlaya students the data is treated under statistical analysis

Among the four main effect i.e. attitude towards modern
trends, gender, stream and school, two effects i.e. stream and school
was found to be significant. The F value drawn of stream is (19.188 df
= 2, 576) which is more than the table value. F value of school drawn
(12.090 df = 1, 576) which is more than the table value and significant
at 0.01 and 0.05 level of significance gender and atmt group are found
to be insignificant. F value of gender (0.245 df = 1, 576) and atmt
    group (F value 1.354 df= 1, 576) which is not significant at0.01 and
    0.05 level of significance respectively.

To confirm the result the mean score on scholastic achievement
with respect to stream is shown in table

                                Table no: - 4.14

Mean score on scholastic achievement with respect to stream

                      Stream Mean Scores
                      Science 48.37
                      Commerce 53.61
                      Atrs 55.30
From the above table no: - , it is found that the scholastic
achievement of arts and commerce students is better than that of
science students.

                             Table no: - 4.15

Mean score on scholastic achievement with respect to school

                    School Mean Scores
                    Ashram 51.08
                    Navodaya 53.78

From the above table it is found that the scholastic achievement of
Navodaya vidlaya students is more than that of ashram school
students

From the table no:- 4.13, it is found that among the first order
international effects Gender*stream (F value 3.816 df = 2, 576) is
significant at 0.05 level of significance when the interaction between
Gender and school was done (F value drawn 3.440 df = 1, 576) is less
than the table value which is not significant at 0.05 and 0.01 level of
significance when gender and atmt group were interacted it was found
to be insignificant at 0.05 and 0.01 level of significance (F value
drawn 0.064 df = 1, 576) which is less than the table value.
Interaction between Stream group were interacted it was found to be
insignificant at 0.05 and 0.01 level of significance (F value drawn
0.064 df = 1, 576) which is less than the table value. Interaction
between Stream* school (F value found 5.915 df = 2, 576) which is
more than table value and significant at 0.05 and 0.01 level of
significance. Stream atmt group (F value 1.246 df = 2, 576) is less
than the table value which is insignificant. School*atmt group was
found to be insignificant (F value 3.669 df = 1,576) which is less than
  the table value.

To prove the interaction of gender*stream and stream*school
mean table is shown under: -

                             Table no: - 4.16

Mean scores on scholastic achievement with respect to interaction of
  gender and stream.

Gender Stream Science Commerce Arts
Male 48.24 52.34 56.51
Female 48.50 54.89 54.54

From the above table it is found that the mean score of arts male
(56.51) is more than of science and commerce students and the mean
score of arts and commerce female is almost same but more than
science and commerce students. It can be concluded that the
scholastic achievement of science male and female is less
comparatively arts and commerce students. Hence the null
  hypothesis______ is accepted here

                              Tale no: - 4.17
School Stream Science Commerce Arts
Ashram 43.81 54.22 55.21
Navodaya 52.93 53.01 55.40

From the above table it can be reveal that mean score of arts students
of ashram school is more than science students and there is very less
difference in the mean score of arts and commerce stream students of
ashram school from the above mean score it is also found that the arts
students of navodaya vidlaya has achieved more score than that of
  commerce and science students.

In total the scholastic achievement of arts students of ashram and
navodaya vidlaya is more than that of science and commerce students.

From the table no: - 4.13 it is found that the second order interactional
effects when interaction between gender x stream x school was done,
it is seen that the (F value found is 2.236 df = 2, 576) is not significant
at 0.01 and 0.05 level. When interaction between gender x stream x
atmt group was done (F value is 1.624 df = 2, 576) which is not
significant at 0.01 and 0.05 level of significance. Interaction of gender
x school x atmt group was found to be significant at 0.05 level of
significance (F value drawn was 4.435 df = 1, 576). It is also found
that when stream x school x atmt group was interacted (F value drawn
was 0.026 df = 2, 576) which is insignificant at 0.01 and 0.05 level of
  significance.
To prove the above result mean scores of gender x school x atmt
groupis shown in table no: - ______

                           Table no: - 4.18

Mean scores on scholastic achievement with respect to gender x
school x atmt group

              High Male Female
                      Ashram 51.94 53.18
                      Navodaya 53.36 54.09
              Low Ashram 44.76 48.38
                      Navodaya 55.03 52.90

From the above table no: - 4.13 it is reveal that mean score of female
students of high atmt group is more than the male ashram (high atmt
group). The mean of female high atmt Navodaya school has more
score than of male. It is also found that the mean of ashram low atmt
group female is more than male. Mean score of male navodaya school
students is more comparatively female low atmt group.

It can be concluded from the discussion that the scholastic
achievement of male students of navodaya vidlaya with that the
scholastic achievement of male students of navodaya vidlaya with low
attitude towards modern trends is higher than the male and female
students of ashram & navodaya students with high atmt. It can be said
that the male students are more concerned towards studies , their
attitude is low towards modern trends.

From the table no: - 4.1 it is found that among third order
interaction i.e. of gender x stream x school x atmt group was done it is
seen that the (F value 0.145 df = 1, 576) is not significant at 0.01 and
0.05 level of significance. Hence it can be concluded that when
gender x stream x school x atmt group was combinedly interacted it
was found to be insignificant. Hence the null hypothesis there exists
no significant effect of …………. is accepted
