     All formatting must be done manually:
            Use ALL CAPS for headers
            Use dashes for bullets
            Insert blank lines to separate text blocks
            Set margins for 40-60 characters wide
     Save document as a .txt file
     Copy & paste into employer’s web-based
      application text boxes or into the body of your
      email message

DOs and DON’Ts:
Make it easy to read
     Use     WHITE SPACE           to make your
      resumé easy to read
     Use simple typefaces
        A sans serif font such as Arial is typically
         used on the web
        A “serif” font such as Times New Roman is
         typically used in print media
        Don’t mix fonts on a PAGE!
     10 to 12 pt. is the best size to use, depending
      on the font you use
            Smaller than 10 pt. is too hard to read

     Use active voice. It has
      more impact!
     Incomplete sentences are
      acceptable
     Triple-check for spelling
      and grammar
     Have trustworthy friends
      review it

Writing Style
     Write in “first person”
            You can drop the "I" word at the beginning of
             each sentence.
     Use PAST tense consistently in your
      Employment History descriptions.
            Exception: for any position in which you are
             currently employed
     Use spell checking software BUT…
            Always have another person review!
