These scholarships recognize a student’s academic and leadership achievements and are

Need and Leadership. Part of this Scholarship criteria is based on Leadership, it is extremely
important to indicate leadership positions held and honors received.
Applicants must have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical
reading section OR a composite ACT score of 21.
Applicants must demonstrate limited financial resources. Scholarship recipients are selected
on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and
community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual
personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.
The purpose of these Scholarships is to aid Job’s Daughters students of outstanding ability

whom have a sincerity of purpose. The factors to be evaluated in awarding the scholarships
shall be: Scholastic Standing; Job’s Daughters activities; Applicant’s financial self help;
Financial Need; Executive Bethel Guardian Council Recommendation; School (faculty)

Students must be 23 years of age or younger and be actively involved in school and
community activities.
A $750 scholarship is awarded to a student in each of MSBA's 17 regions. From that group
the statewide winner is selected. Applicants are judged on the basis of academic performance,
extracurricular activities and the quality of an essay. More than 250 scholarship applications
were submitted this year.
Students may begin their college career by entering into either a 2-or 4-year accredited in-
state college/university, as long as they stay on track to complete a bachelor's degree
program. The scholar could receive up to $20,000 over four years to help complete a
bachelor's degree.
To apply for the scholarship the student must submit the completed application, resume, two
letters of recommendation, and the completed essay questions. Applicant must show proof of
enrollment to an institution of higher education before the scholarship will be awarded.
Renewals are contingent upon availability of funds. Scholarships vary with the needs and
educational expenses of the student. Scholarships may cover tuition, books, supplies,
housing, meals and other expenses not covered by other grants and/or Scholarships.
The recipients of the scholarships may attend the college or university of their choice.
Applicants must submit one 700 word essay
Students must submit application, high school transcripts, verification of acceptance into
college or university (and nursing program if applicable), personal statement, and two letters of
recommendation. One year of full-time employment at Liberty Hospital as a Registered Nurse
for each $5,000 scholarship awarded. Interested students must be available to interview with
the Selection Committee, and agree to sign a Scholarship Contractual Agreement.
A photocopy of the completed Living Memorial Scholarship application is required for each
scholarship. However, only one copy of the student transcript is required for the packet of
Living Memorial Scholarship applications submitted.
This need-based scholarship was established for students who are employed while attending
school part-time. Applicants must not have not received their first bachelor's degree or
completed 150 semester credit hours. Applicants must not be employed under the Title IV
College Work Study program. Awards are provided each semester based on limited funding
availability, with renewal students having priority. As a result, not all eligible students are
funded.
The purpose of the Academic Scholarship Program B is to assist
freshmen college students and high school graduates to achieve their academic goals.
Federal Pell Grant status must be included with application. Based on the information provided
on the application and the recommendations received, qualified students will be selected to
participate in an interview, which will be conducted during the month of March or April.
Students offered scholarships will also need to apply for a summer internship and if offered an
internship, must complete the salaried summer internship of 12 weeks or more at Microsoft
Corporation in Redmond, Washington.

and essay (500 word minimum).
The purpose of this scholarship is to reward the style of volunteerism the candidate
preformed. The applicant must provide two letters of recommendation from a hospital staff
person who is familiar with the candidate.

attending a Missouri college, university or accredited tech/trade school or be a graduating high
school senior who has been admitted to a Missouri institution of higher learning.

school counselor; should be active in extra-curricular activities; and must write a paragraph
detailing his/her goals ten years after high school graduation.
Scholarship is not renewable. Scholarship will be awarded based on scholarship, leadership,

behalf.
Students must enroll in an accredited community college, college or university in the state of
Missouri and must major in Agriculture. Youth members who have sold livestock in any past
Sale of Champions at the Missouri State Fair are not eligible for this scholarship. Applicants

technical theatre or related fields; Teacher Education scholarships for those planning to major

Scholarship recipient will be honored at Pride St. Louis’ Official Kick-Off Party at Mad Art

The Project 21 Underage Gaming Task Force was established by Harrah’s Entertainment in
1989 to address the issue of underage gambling.
Project 21provides students an opportunity to disseminate their message by writing an article
or creating a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling.

undergraduate student in a participating Missouri postsecondary school, and be a Missouri

The scholarships are not limited to members of the Puerto Rican Society. The scholarships
are granted to students that continue their education in a college, university or other institution
of higher learning, whether for study at the undergraduate or graduate levels. Application

Three scholarships will be awarded to any student in the Rockwood School District who wants
to become a teacher. Scholastic ability, community/school activities, community service,
personal references and interest in entering the field of education will be the major factors in
selecting the scholarship recipients.

In addition, the student must have accomplished one of the following: Work in the industry for

This is an interest-free, fee-free loan program. Some students may also receive some amount
of matching grant aid. Selection will be based on financial need, academic promise and

The Missouri Mayflower Society Scholarship Contest is open to any high school senior who is
a resident of the State of Missouri and a Citizen of the United States, and who is planning to
attend an institution of higher learning in the fall of 2011. The scholarship, which is a one-time
award of $1,000, will be payable to the student’s account at the college or university in which
the student has enrolled.
Financial need will not be a factor in selection. Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the
Missouri Natural Resources Conference. Scholarship applications must include a 3 to 5-page

St. Johns Bank Excellence Program will award a total of three scholarships, worth $1,000
each, to qualifying candidates. Because St. Johns Bank has six locations; three in St. Louis
County, and three in St. Charles County, two of the three scholarships will be split between the
Francis Howell, Fort Zumwalt, St. Charles School Districts and the Pattonville,
Ferguson/Florissant School District. The third scholarship will be available only to qualifying
seniors attending Ritenour High School.

The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for golf
caddies that is renewable for up to four years. Each year, more than 800 deserving caddies
across the country attend college on a four-year scholarship from the Evans Scholars
Foundation. Selected applicants must have a strong caddie record, excellent grades,
outstanding character and demonstrated financial need.

The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is intended to recognize
graduating seniors who are seeking a degree in a business related field, who have shown a
commitment to building a better community, and have demonstrated a record of community
service in the area.
The organization has available two (2) scholarships for multiple-birth students seeking initial
enrollment in accredited post high school education or training. Numerous factors will be
considered in the selection of award recipients, including academic achievement,
demonstrated qualities of leadership and citizenship in both their school and community. In
addition, financial need will be considered as well as the applicant’s essay and
recommendations. To be considered for the award, the Scholarship Chair must also receive
copies of birth certificates to show the multiple birth, an official transcript and a list of current

The dollar amount of each scholarship will be an amount sufficient to pay the unmet financial

three (3) additional years if the recipient fulfills the renewal criteria.First year scholarship
recipients will be required to attend, before entering college, a free one day summer workshop
at Columbia, Chillicothe, Springfield or Cape Girardeau, Missouri on Time Management,
Financial Planning, Goal Setting and Achievement, and Recipient Responsibilities. Each
recipient of a scholarship must contribute toward the cost of his or her education by working a
minimum of 240 hours prior to the start of each subsequent academic year. Recipients of a
