For 80+ years, Lions have recycled.

There are (18) Lions eyeglass recycling centers
 in Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico,
Republic of South Africa, Spain, and the USA.
  It’s easy to collect
       eyeglasses.

        seminar.

The Hearing Aid Recycling Program (HARP) enables
Lions to provide affordable hearing aids to individuals
         who have limited financial resources.
•Hearing aids are refurbished
by hearing care professionals
who distribute them during
health care or hearing missions
to developing nations.

•Lions may receive credit for
useful hearing aid parts from
participating manufacturers.

organizing
 this Lions
   Green
   Team
   event.
Another Dist. 1-J Lions Green Team
 pilot project was recycling gyms.
 We delivered two pick-up trucks of
gym shoes to the MD Leo Conference.
The environment is important to
     my Kodiak Lions Club.

     “Going Green”
      can provide
fundraising opportunities
Sell and/or install light bulbs
Rain barrels
  Sell
reusable
  bags
Collect used cellular telephones
      or ink jet cartridges
Plant 1.3 million Lions trees
