Rich Iott When Rich Iott is not presiding over his production company Braeburn Entertainment or attending the various meetings he’s involved in thanks to all of his business ventures, he plays the guitar. His entire family are actually accomplished musicians. His 26 year-old daughter Devon also plays the guitar and the piano, bass, keyboard, drums, clarinet, violin and hand-held bells. In the beginning of her acting career, she had the chance to record a song for a feature length film. Rich’s son, Ian, is a songwriter who plays drums, piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, banjo, concertina , tin whistle and saxophone. The concertina is a free-reed musical instrument, like the accordion and harmonica that was developed in England and Germany. According to Wikipedia.com, the guitar is a plucked string instrument that has six strings, usually played with fingers or a pick. It is typically made out of various woods and strung with animal gut, nylon or steel strings. There are two main families of guitars: acoustic and electric. The acoustic kind has three types: the classic guitar, the steel-strung acoustic guitar and the archtop guitar. This instrument’s tone is produced by the vibration of the strings, amplified in the body of the guitar. The electric type, which was introduced in the 30s, relies on an amplifier for tone. This type of guitar has a continuing influence on pop culture and is the primary instrument in blues, flamenco, jazz, metal, rock and soul.
