Hilltop’s Business Online Service System is designed with complete
business functionality in mind, providing business account holders
greater accuracy and organization than ever before. It’s fast, easy to use
and secure.

Getting started with the B.O.S.S. is a snap, just flip through this guide
and see for yourself. You’ll learn about the various features and
functions and see just how easy the system is to manage. For additional
help getting started, give us a call or come by any Hilltop National Bank
location and we’ll walk you through a demonstration. You can also visit

                          Getting Started

Getting online to do your business banking is easy. Visit our website to
print an application or come by any Hilltop National Bank location.
  Complete an Enrollment form:
                 Assign one Supervisor
                 List the account numbers
                  Provide contact methods to allow the system to contact
                   you through a telephone number or email address
       After processing your application, our eService Specialist will set
        up your B.O.S.S. account. The supervisor of the accounts will be
        assigned a Login ID. To start accessing the accounts, log on to:
       First time users will log in and select New/Forgot password. A
        temporary Secure Access Code will be delivered via one of the
        contact methods provided on the enrollment form.
       The user will be prompted to change the password, create an online
        profile, and accept the online legal disclosures prior to viewing the
       Access to ACH origination or wire transfer features requires a
        completed agreement which must be approved by the bank.

          Recommended Equipment

 PC running Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista or Mac
  running OS-X

 A current version of an SSL-enabled browser such as Internet
  Explorer (IE) or Firefox (Mozilla)

 An Internet connection. Note – dial up connections will be
  significantly slower than DSL or Broadband.

information. Here are a few examples of how serious we are about
Internet Banking security:
     Secure Access Code – A Login ID is assigned to you; however a
      temporary password is not assigned. You will be required to log
      into the B.O.S.S. and request a temporary Secure Access Code
      which is delivered to an email address or phone number that you
     Computer registration – Registering each computer which is
      used to access the B.O.S.S. ensures that only your registered
      computer(s) has Login ID/Password access to the B.O.S.S.
     Phishing phrase – A personal phrase appears as a transparent
      overlay on the HNB login screen. This tool is used to help verify
      that you are on the correct website.
     Automatic session time-out
     Control access to accounts and specific users
     Supervisor controlled maximum daily, weekly, or monthly dollar
      limits on transactions for each user
     Data encryption using 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

                          The Basics
With the Business Online Service System you will find the functionality
of the system easy to learn and easy to use.

The transaction links are located on the left side of every screen. Each
screen also contains a HELP button that offers tips for using the system
along with answers to frequently asked questions.

The following pages provide an overview of the basic features of Hilltop
National Bank’s B.O.S.S.

OVERVIEW - When you log in to the B.O.S.S., the “Overview” screen
automatically displays all of your accounts and balances. From this
screen, you can click on your account to bring up a history of
transactions. You can also use the quick transfer buttons     to transfer
funds directly from this screen.

HISTORY – View up to 2,000 transactions in one screen. You can
specify the number of transactions you would like to view in account
preferences. Magnifying glass images          appear next to each check
and deposit transaction. By clicking on the magnifying glass        , you
will be able to view the front and back of these images.

ONLINE ACTIVITY – View all transactions that have been initiated by
any user online. View, approve or cancel online transactions directly
from this page.

STATEMENTS – View up to 18 months of statements for every active
online account.

FUNDS TRANSFER – Transferring funds is as easy - select the account
you want to debit (Transfer From), select the account to credit (Transfer
To), enter the dollar amount, verify the information is correct, submit the
transfer and approve it.

BILL PAYMENT – The Bill Payment center offers you the
convenience of paying your bills online rather than writing and mailing a
check. Payments are made electronically or by paper check.

RECURRING – Set up recurring payments to any Hilltop National
Bank account. Whether you have a loan payment or want to transfer
funds to a savings account; you can schedule transfers to fit your needs.

    Cash Management Features
RECIPIENTS – A recipient is any person or company receiving either a
debit (payment) or a credit (collection) as the result of a commercial
transaction from the B.O.S.S.

SINGLE PAYMENT – Make a one-time single ACH payment to any

SINGLE RECIEPT – Receive a one-time single ACH receipt from any
recipient. Get paid quickly and easily with the proper authorization from
the recipient to receive funds from their account.

PAYROLL – Pay your employees using direct deposit payroll. Import a
file from your existing payroll software program, or create your own
payroll file within the B.O.S.S.

PAYMENTS – The payment function allows you to make ACH
payments to a number of recipient accounts with one withdrawal from
your account. Create batches for payments and select specific payments
with the check of a box.

    Cash Management Features

COLLECTIONS – Collect funds through ACH collections. Get paid
quickly and easily with the proper authorization from the recipient to
receive funds from their account. Create a batch file to receive funds or
import a file with the recipient’s information.

WIRE TRANSFERS – Submit a wire transfer online. Send collected
funds immediately to any recipient on the same day the request is sent.

TAX PAYMENT – Submit Federal and some selected state tax
payments online. You must have approval from the Internal Revenue
Service to pay your taxes through ACH origination.

MESSAGES – Send and receive secure messages to and from Hilltop
National Bank

ADDRESS CHANGE – Change your address and contact information
securely online

STOP PAYMENT – When you submit a stop payment online, it comes
directly to the bank so we can enter it on our system.

CHECK REORDER – Reorder checks from the convenience of your

OTHER SERVICES – Links to Direct Deposit Authorization forms and
Savings Bond order forms

ACCOUNT – Set the preferences for your accounts. You can change the
order in which you view your accounts on the overview page, title or
nickname your accounts, and designate the number of transactions that
are visible on the history screen.

ALERTS - Alerts and reminders send notifications of important account
information and personal reminders based on your selected preferences.
You can create account-based alerts to automatically notify you of
important changes to your account (i.e. your balance drops below a
specific amount, etc.). You can also create personal reminders so you
don’t forget special events.

SECURITY – Change your password, add a phishing phrase, and add
additional contact methods for the system to contact you with a Secure
Access Code.

SUBSIDIARIES – Manage additional companies that might fall under
the main parent company or holding company. Add the company name,
address and tax identification numbers to enable the use of ACH
payments and collections for a subsidiary.

USER - Create and maintain an online user profile to ensure we have
accurate, up-to-date information. This information is important for us to
provide the highest level of customer service.

MANAGE USERS – Manage the users who have access to the B.O.S.S.
Enable or disable access to specific users as determined by the supervisor
of the accounts. Add and delete users who have access to the B.O.S.S.
with ease.

USER RIGHTS – Assign user rights to View, Withdrawal, Deposit, Set
Up, Draft, Authorize and Cancel transactions. Each user will only have
access to the levels you assign. You may set daily limits to each user and
designate the transactions they have access to view.

BILL PAYMENT – Manage the accounts that will be used for making
bill payments when using the Bill Payment link.

MOBILE – Enable access to Mobile banking. This allows you to access
your accounts, make transfers, and authorize transactions all from the
convenience of your internet-enabled mobile device (i.e. cellular phone).
This feature is included with your B.O.S.S.; however, charges may apply
from your internet-enabled mobile device provider.
