       Marketed, designed and managed credit and noncredit programs in business writing and
       speaking. Programs were offered both in-house for area businesses and organizations,
       and on an open-enrollment basis. Consultations and tutorials were also available. In the
       1987-88 academic year, the Communications Programs unit increased its income almost
       20%, with actual profits over $35,000.00.

       2007. Earning Interest Project Patches prepares Scouts for the Gold Award, the highest
       achievement in scouting. Sessions take place during “Scout Saturdays at Sam” on the
       Sam Houston State University campus. Faculty also participate in roundtable discussions
       concerning college life and careers.

Board of Directors, Association of Professional Communication Consultants, 1999-2005.
      Provided professional development opportunities, support, and networking opportunities
      for international membership. Helped maintain website (www.consultingsuccess.org)
      and listserv. Responsible for development, printing, distribution, and sales of
