Cleveland Leadership Center program for individuals seeking
further civic education and engagement

What is CLI? CLI is Civic Leadership Institute - a program of the Cleveland Leadership
Center reaching out to established and aspiring Clevelanders who want to get informed,
invigorated, engaged and involved. Designed to increase civic knowledge and
engagement for people new to the area, starting a new assignment, or wanting a
deeper understanding of our community’s civic infrastructure. Individuals involved in
civic matters at the highest level lead the sessions, which include networking, keynote
presentation, question and answer and small group discussions.

CLI builds better - more informed and engaged -
employees and civic leaders. Evaluations from
participants, and feedback from employers,
indicate CLI graduates better understand our
environment and the impact of civic decisions for
organizations and clients.

CLI is good for your company and good for you. It's a proactive way to gain connections, and engage in
networks and conversations, while building community and business. CLI shows participants what's being done to
make our community stronger, shares who's doing it, and invites them to join. It's a retention tool for the city, your
company and for you!

CLI is information, connections and convenience that can't be beat:
    • Six compact, dynamic Wednesday sessions
    • Cost is $500 per participant with a nonprofit/government rate of $350
    • 7:30 to 9:30AM wakeup call with savvy speakers and questioning classmates
    • 12 hours of some of Cleveland's best know how, know who and know when!
