1. Wash and Cleanse Skin Regularly
Okay, I know you ve been doing this since you were in kindergarten but now that you re a bit
older you definitely want something that s gentle on your skin.

Many commercial soaps and facial cleansers contain harsh ingredients that can strip your skin of
natural oils, leaving your skin dry and dull-looking. Instead, use mild herbal soaps and
cleansers. Use warm water to open up your pores. For the final rinse, use cool water to close the
pores.




2. Eat Good Fats
Now you may think that eating fat is a bad idea, but this is actually a good skin care tip for
men. Your body needs essential fatty acids to make cell membranes and body chemicals like
hormones.

Yes, hormones. I knew this would make you sit up and take notice. Anyway, essential fats keep
your heart healthy and may prevent cancer. They also fight inflammation and may help people
with acne, eczema, or dry skin. Rich sources of good fats include avocados, olives, nuts and
coldwater fish such as salmon and sardines.

3. Improve Your Digestion
In alternative medicine good skin indicates a good digestive system. People with acne, psoriasis,
eczema and other skin disorders often suffer from digestive disorders such as constipation and

You can improve your digestion by drinking more water everyday to help eliminate waste
products and prevent constipation.

Your digestion can become sluggish if you do not consume enough fiber in your diet. Raw
fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, prunes, whole grains, beans and other legumes are rich sources of

I recommend fiber from completely natural sources, such as fruits and vegetables, but many
people like their whole grains, so that is completely acceptable as well.

4. Exercise Regularly
This may seem like a strange skin care tip for men, but seriously now, it will increase your
metabolism, improve circulation, clear your pores as you sweat, increase collagen production,
and generally make you feel good about yourself. Now if that doesn t make your skin glow, no
