This Construction Punch List sets forth a sample list of items a party may want to
inspect as part of a residential building project prior to final approval of the project.
Please note that there may be items which are not included that should be added, and
there may be items contained herein which are inapplicable. This document contains
tasks that are standard for this type of punch list, however, additional items may be
added to fit the needs of a particular project. Use this form to make sure all aspects of
the construction project are inspected before final approval is given.
Construction Punch List
Initials FINAL SIGNOFF FROM ALL INSPECTORS
All concrete forms have been removed.
Grade slopes away from house 6 inches vertically for every 10 feet horizontally.
Final grade smooth and back fill settled.
All wood products removed from soil around house (termite protection).
Loose concrete cleaned up and hauled off.
Hose bibs work.
Brick and other wall surfaces cleaned.
Gas and electrical meters are connected and sealed.
All penetrations through walls caulked and sealed.
Gutters and downspouts properly installed.
Shingles correctly nailed.
Roof flashings properly installed.
Roof vent collars caulked or sealed.
All fascia correctly installed.
All soffits correctly vented and installed.
Windows securely installed, operate correctly and caulked including top.
Screens properly installed.
Siding properly nailed without bulges.
Trim properly installed, nailed and caulked.
Deck properly installed and nailed.
Railings and balustrades properly installed and secured.
Steps and railings secured.
Exterior locks working.

Oven and stove properly installed working.
All light fixtures have functioning bulbs in them and working (bulbs are not covered
by the warranty).
