Everyone knows getting a tattoo removed is a messy and painful business, but when it comes to The Hangover Part II, Warner Bros. won’t have to worry about that nightmare scenario. After months of legal wrangling, the studio has settled a lawsuit brought by Missouri tattoo artist S. Victor Whitmill over the tattoo on Ed Helms’ face in the blockbuster comedy. Whitmill sued the studio in April and unsuccessfully sought an injunction against the release of the film, claiming that Helms’ tattoo infringed a copyright he held on a tattoo he’d created for boxer Mike Tyson. An auction of actress Debbie Reynolds' Hollywood memorabilia earned $22.8 million over the weekend and included the record breaking sale of Marilyn Monroe's iconic subway dress from 1955 movie The Seven Year Itch. The $4.6 million winning bid for Monroe's dress, which billows up with a gust of air as a train rolls by, rose to $5.52 million after taxes and fees were included, and the sum far surpassed pre-sale estimates of $1 million to $2 million. Former Bachelorette contestant Chris Lambton has found the one. Lambton, who came in second on Ali Fedotowsky's season, is engaged to former Bachelor contestant Peyton Wright. Ashton Kutcher already has one ally in his corner when he replaces Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men this fall. "I think Ashton is going to be great," Sheen's ex-wife, Denise Richards told reporters. But as happy as she is for Kutcher, Richards takes no pleasure in Sheen's departure from the sitcom. "I am sad to see Charlie not on the show," she says. "Nobody can replace Charlie. The show was written for him and he was so brilliant at it, but I think Ashton will make it his own." Forbes Magazine, most famous for it’s richest “enter whatever profession” lists, has released their music themed rankings. Today, we’ve got the Top 25 Highest Paid Musicians. U2, Bon Jovi and Elton John top off the list at $195M, $125M and $100M respectively. Lady Gaga is the highest ranking female (and pop act) at number 5 ($90M), and Canucks Michael Buble and Justin Bieber placed 5 ($70M) and 9 ($53M) respectively. Moviemaker Julie Taymor has blamed Twitter.com for the initial failure of her much maligned Broadway musical Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark, insisting too many people used the social network to voice their opinions before the show was ready. Ricky Martin has announced plans to open a number of children's homes across Latin America in a bid to stop human trafficking. Martin is currently using his foundation to build the Child Development and Prevention Center in Loiza, Puerto Rico, which is expected to be completed in 2012. The singer has now revealed that he hopes for the foundation to build similar homes in the Dominican Republic, Mexico and other parts of Latin America. Julianne Hough has said that she and boyfriend Ryan Seacrest make a "good team". The singer and actress praised her partnership with the American Idol host in an interview with Parade, insisting that she doesn't mind putting in the "work" to keep things going as she believes that she and Seacrest are well matched.
