  bureaus to update your address, if it has not already been updated automatically through your creditors reporting this
  new information to the credit bureaus. This is also a good time to obtain a copy of your credit report to verify all
  information is correct, and there are no accounts open that you thought you closed, or you know you didn't open
  yourself.This is a good way to protect yourself against IDENTITY THEFT.By obtaining your own credit report, you will not
  hurt your own credit, or drop your beacon score. It is a good idea for EACH person in your household over the age of 18 to
  verify this information. If you only check one, check with Equifax.
