All of this was copy/pasted from /x/. It was only compiled by me, an underage namefag with a lot
of time to spare. I can't be held responsible for anything other than uploading this--I've tried out
all of the content when it comes to video/download links, and they're safe as far as I know.
Nothing below has been written by me unless it's underlined/bold. I'll comment occasionally.

Martyrs is still the best movie ever. I'm never going to stop promoting it.

Seriously. Go rent it RIGHT FUCKING NOW, but in the name of all that is holy, do not eat/drink anything
while you watch it. Especially anything with pulp in it. You won't just shit bricks; you'll puke them, too.

These are some of my favorite horrors that I would choose to impress a girl, but rather for their artistic
value and not necessarily their exceptional scariness (they ARE scary, though):
Rosemary's Baby (1968)
Lost Highway (1997)
Don't Look Now (1973) lol sex scene
The Tenant (1976)
Jacob's Ladder (1990)
Angel Heart (1987)
The Exorcist (1973)

If you're looking for something really, REALLY scary, I'd recommend Funny Games (1997) (remade in
2007 under the same name; it's basically shot-for-shot, but in English) and The Vanishing (1988). Neither
of these is technically a horror movie, but I can guarantee that both are extremely distressing. I wouldn't
show them to any female friend however, unless I'd want to torture her emotionally.

Let the Right One In (2008) is a new Swedish horror movie that is reportedly very good, but I haven't seen
it yet; still, you might want to check it.
Noroi (Probably my favorite J-horror movie)
Hair Extensions (LOL)
Borderland (shitsux)
Session 9 (I'll admit it. I loved it.)
Ju-on (Many bricks were shat.)

Funny Games (INCREDIBLY boring at some points, and somewhat alright during other parts. Wouldnt
watch it again though).
Mirrors (Pretty lame. However I didnt want to look at mirrors for at least a week afterwards)
Repo! The Genetic Opera (I liked it, although I saw it with a friend of a friend and he sang along to every
song. Which kind of took me out of the movie)

Saw (pretty good)
Saw II (eh)
Friday the 13th (13th part, gay gay and more gay, and excessive amount of boobs)
The Haunting In Connecticut (bizarre)
The Unborn (okay)
The Uninvited (mindfuck-ish) (the only good remake I have ever seen, ever)
Blair Witch Project (ending freaked me out, lulz)

Sweet Home for the NES.

Simple graphics, painfull gameplay and brickshitting scary. It was the mother of all horror games.

Pretty much mindfucking, on the way of Dark Seed and other old adventures, this pretty much fuck you
down to ashes with it's video cutscenes. A++ sound effects and mood.
Look out: 7 cds.

The Chzo Mythos is a tetralogy of games revolving around some strange, ancient, supernatural horror.
It's your basic point-and-click (with the option/risk of dying, something quite strange in the genre)
puzzle-solving, AGS-scripted affair but what sets it apart from other games is the sheer scope of its plot.
The series spans many centuries and each successive addition manages to expand the plot more and
Dark Seed 1+2
With artwork by freaudian freak H.R. Giger, this is an extremely hard, yet extremely disturbing adventure
game. Live the last days of an tormented artist on a twisted house.

Alone in the Dark 1 + 2

You know SHIT about fear until you know this game. It's simplicity, hard controls and addicting storyline
sure make it an epic of the horror cult games.
I haven't finished the first one yet.

Clock Tower for the SNES

You're a defenseless little girl in an abandoned, cripple mansion full of ghosts and demons. Shit's THAT

I had this game and played with my sister one night... I haven't touched it since.

Out of this World, Multiplat.
Not really scary, but mindfucking game. You're a physicist who endr being thrown into an alien world by
using an HLC-like shit.
Painfull difficulty but pretty graphics and storytelling, even without dialogue, makes it one of the best
midnfucking games ever made.... by one person!

Weird Dreams for Amiga

Can't really describe this game... It's like, imagine you just took a whole sheet of LSD then George
Foreman comes up and make tender sex with your brain... And them the Wasps come in.

Friday the 13th for NES

Do I have to say more?

The Haunting, on Genesis.

You play as a ghost and have to scare a family... Pretty fucked up for todays standarts.
Uninvited, on the NES/DOS

Didn't played it, but it's like shadowgate. Some say it's pretty disturbing. There be ghosts.

Sanitarium for PC

People bashing theyr heads on bloody walls, vomit and shit everywhere... Imagine Dementium for men.
Theeere you go.

Manhunt for PC.

You get drugged up and have to kill people in al ways so a nazi assface can record it all and fap to it
while eating pasta.
Tip: use the plastic bag... all the time.

Shit will scare you inside out. (It wasn't that scary.)

Clive Barker Undying for PC

never really played, some say it's a helluva creepy game.

Bad Mojo

Not necessarily HORROR, but pretty macabre nonetheless

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream for PC (Based off of the book by Harlan Ellison)

A nazi computer keeps some post apoc folk into cages and torture+rape them. Then he get hardcore
bored and decides to make them confront theyr biggest fears.
Made a nice buck selling copies of this game on my school, shit was truly disturbing at the time.

Dino Fucking Crisis 1 + 2

Like mixing Jurassic Park with your worst nightmares, Dino Crisis used many scare tactics to make a
lasting impression on PlayStation, PC, and Dreamcast owners alike. Even the game's scripting was
awesome, as the game shifted camera angles and various sound effects would suddenly amplify when
you were in danger of being mauled by a velociraptor. Dino Crisis was just more proof that Capcom really
hit their stride with the horror genre, taking seemingly ridiculous plots and turning them into
heart-pounding experiences.

The House of the Dead

From Wiki:It is a survival horror game set in the late 1920s and early 1930s, starring the player as The
Stranger, an operative of a fictional American Government secret organization known as "Spookhouse",
created by President Theodore Roosevelt to fight monsters.

Alone in the Dark: The new Nightmare for PC

Meh... Same thing, a little less creepier, but with monkeynuts gfx and sound. 3 cds.

Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi

From wiki: The protagonist is travelling in Transylvania to a castle where his sister's wedding is being
held. Upon his arrival, when the player assumes control over him, he learns that his future brother-in-law
is actually a vampire who intends to either kill his sister or turn her into a vampire.
