TBR: Tom Danford, Margaret Mason – Last PM call for 2009. Get plenty of rest.
DBA Collaborative: Jeff Hinds, Greg Turmel – Schools need to be working on Banner 8
environments for upcoming training.
ODS/EDW: Pamela Clippard – All schools have a working ODS instance.

4. Ongoing Discussion/New Items
Status of TBR 027 and Fee Assessment/Refunding – Still have issues with the mod.
SGHE has offered a consultant but the person has no knowledge of
Status of XML Transcripts – Transcripts in Banner comply with the Post-Secondary
requirements. Next task for the Registrars is to determine if the TBR transcript
meets the national standard. For example, do we really need the TBR GPA
calculation on the XML transcript.
o Jerry (PSCC) raised an issue that the upload has not worked. Margaret will work
with the schools to determine if this is the case.
o Diane (DSCC) – is the transcript generation process cumbersome? Will be
discussed on the Student call.
o Jerry (PSCC) – combined stats will need to see the combined GPA.
Status of “Move the Button” with TouchNet – Margaret will meet with Touchnet today
at 3pm to finalize the last offer which is to lump sum the 5 payment points for all TBR
schools. Costs would be split across the schools.
Support beginning in January, 2010 – SMO will resume 1st line of support for the
Customer Support Center which is 1 month earlier than the Business Officers
agreed to pay for.
o A new Oracle contract begins the 1st of the year which will allow us to go directly
to Oracle for any Banner-related issues. Continue to enter Oracle issues in the
SGHE Customer Support Center and the TBR DBAs will pick up the SR and
send to Oracle.
Banner 8 Upgrade – A revised list of the upgrades, one-off patches, and TN mods
with tar’s and trz’s will be sent by Wednesday next week.
Release of MODs – Results of the testing is working well for issue reporting. TBR
would also like to hear about the successes and preface subject heading withBanner
Virtual Class Differences Training Schedule – Revised scheduled emailed today with
the highlights in yellow. The Finance and Financial Aid differences still overlap. The
original person for the Banner General differences is unavailable and a new date will

TN Tech IT dept had a Dept. of Labor audit and they have come back and
reclassified the exempt employees as non-exempt (including academic, network,
and server support).
The wire for the Dec compensation report needs to go to Great West by noon
Monday, Dec 21.
AppWorx contract is with TBR and not the individual institutions.
The free Summit registrations are for the standard registrations.
