Part 1: Getting Started
make sure you have itunes installed on your computer if you don’t just go to
http://www.apple.com/itunes/

1. The first thing that has to be done is to contact Fred Johnson and request and Itune’s U course.
        His E-mail address: fjohnson@sandburg.edu

2. After Fred has sent you the conformation that your course is available here is how to access that course

3. There are two links that will be created for the course
        1. Is the instructor link (this needs to be hidden at all times)
        2. Student link, this is what will be posted in your course for student’s to access Itunes U

4. The links work like this
        a) ex: instructor link This is what you change
        b) http://cgi.sandburg.edu/cgi-bin/itunesu.pl?id=spring11:psy265100&role=instructor
        c) <term> = spring11 (lowercase)
        d) <courseid> = psy265100 (lowercase and no periods)
        e) so for the instructor link where it says spring11 in the link, that is for the term , then after the semi
colonwould be the class with no periods
Remember this link is not to be shown to students
            g) ex: student link (link that is to be posted) This is what you change
            h) http://cgi.sandburg.edu/cgi-bin/itunesu.pl?id=spring11:psy265100
            i) <term> = spring11 (lowercase)
            j) <courseid> = psy265100 (lowercase and no periods)
            k) so for the instructor link where it says spring11 in the link, that is for the term , then after the semi
colon would be the class with no periods

                                                                               3
