					Looking for MLS listings by owner?
Multiple Listing Service (MLS) helps owners to sell their homes and
also help likely buyers to look at homes for sale. MLS is the reason
why selling homes is so successful. For sale by owner MLS is a
situation where owners put up their property for sale by using the MLS
system. When you sell your home without the services of an agent
you will have to pay a flat fee to list your home. The flat listing fee is
low as against the 6% commissions you will be paying a real estate
agent. You can list your property for sale on an agent’s MLS along with
other MLS listed homes and avoid paying the 6% commission.

However, MLS listings by owner require certain procedures. Select
your State and review the MLS services of that State. Provide the
address of the property you want to sell. Make the flat fee payment
and your will get an email receipt. You will then have to provide
information of your property so that it can be entered in the MLS.
Once your property for sale is listed, you will be assigned a broker who
will be your contact hereafter. Within a few days after your property
has been entered in MLS, your listing will appear in all other MLS
websites. When you sign up online you will get a secure MLS number.
The procedure is very fast and can be easily understood. Easily
approachable you can ask questions for which you will get immediate
responses. Besides you will get timely email updates or they may ask
you for additional information. MLS team members are professional
and friendly.

MLS listing by owners is legal. The advantages are many. Once a
homeowner lists with a real estate agent, the agent enters the
property into the MLS system. After which all agents belonging to the
MLS system will be able to get the information. These agents either
sell the home themselves or if they are practicing in other States they
will try to sell to likely buyers who are moving to that particular area.
Exposure will attract buyers to the house put up for sale.

In conclusion, using MLS listing by owner and you sell to your own
buyer you will only the flat fee plus applicable taxes. But if you use the
option MLS listing by owner and you sell to a buyer that the agent
brings, you will have to pay the flat fee and applicable taxes and a
commission of 2-3% to the agent.
