									                                   Bio Poem Assignment

Objective: Composing a Persona-Poem
CLASSWORK / HOMEWORK
(Skills: Composing a Persona-Poem)
DIRECTIONS: This is an individual assignment. Introduce yourself by creating
a persona-poem (also known as a bio-poem). Generate a creative title for your
persona poem, and follow the form of the sample persona-poem at the bottom of the
next page.

Remember: Your poem doesn’t have to include exactly three ideas in any of the
lines. The form is a simple guideline; however, centering gives your poem a one-of-
a-kind look, and a special look is important! Typing on unlined paper is also a plus!

Your persona-poem, YOUR creative expression about YOU, will be collected on
February 5, 2009.
