Biology CELLULAR RESPIRATION WEBQUEST Objectives: 1. Navigate to find information on the internet using a Webquest. 2. Know where energy is produced in your body. 3. Know the processes that produce energy in your body. 4. Understand the differences between how plants process energy and how you process energy. 5. Draw a diagram of the cellular respiration process. Directions: 1. Go to the website http://coestudents.valdosta.edu/rray/new_page_1.htm (Read the introduction.) 2. Click on the “Task” icon and read the objectives of the journey. 3. Click on the “Process” icon. Write down the six questions that you will need to answer as you go through the Webquest. 4. Go to the “top of the page” on the “Process” page and click on Trackstar. 5. A white page will appear with a link to the Trackstar sight…click on it! 6. Click the box “View in Frames” on the main page of Trackstar. 7. On the left side of the page, in the yellow box, click on #2 (Overview of Cellular Respiration Process.) 8. Here you will start finding answers to valuable questions. 9. You will need to click on the word Photosynthesis in the gray box to obtain the answer to number 3 in your questions/tasks. 10. Click on #3 (Compare photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration) to obtain the diagram to draw. 11. Write 5 differences between cellular respiration and photosynthesis. Be sure to write in complete sentences and use your own words!
