                                                                            New Berlin Elementary rocked the school with a pep rally right before
                                                                            FCAT began in April! In addition to a performance and cheers from
                                                                            the Oceanway Middle School Band and the Oceanway Middle School
                                                                            Cheerleaders, NBE received a special surprise visit from Jaguar Roar
                                                                            Cheerleader Jordan and New Berlin's own Cheer Girl (a.k.a. Principal
                                                                            Wanda Reese)!

                                                                            Third grade teachers also got into the spirit with a special song, while
                                                                            4th grade teachers led the students in The Chicken Dance. Not to be
                                                                            outdone, the 5th grade teachers led the group in a cheer that
                                                                            brought down the house! Resource teachers also chanted this year's
                                                                            pep rally theme: "Score High, Beat the FCAT!", and the whole
                                                                            cafetorium was decorated with banners and signs made by all of

                                                                  The Great Post Card Race has begun! Students in third grade
                                                                  are studying the United States. Each classroom is competing
                                                                  against each other to see who can get the most post cards (one
                                                                  from each state). Check out the hallway behind the Media
                                                                  Center to see the collection of postcards and to see who’s
                                                                  winning the race. Good luck third graders!

                                                                       Girls on the Run Spring into Fun 5K

                                                               NBE Girls on the Run completed a 5K run on Saturday, April 27 at
                                                               Nocatee. Congratulations to the girls and their sponsors Mrs. Soles,
