TITLE: IT Sales Manager
Accomplish sales and profit goals for the company in the Midwest Region and increase market share
through established accounts, and establishment of new accounts. Prepare proposals including license
quoting and service implementation work orders for the mobile workforce management solutions.
Partner with senior management to update the effectiveness of the sales engineering team. Prepare
marketing plans & the entire cycle of bid to delivery processes. Supervise individuals in achievement
of their personal development needs. Coordinate IT Projects for multiple clients with different teams &
assess risks/determine probabilities for achieving schedule and cost objectives.
Direct sales engineers to effectively determine customer needs and present value added IT solutions
to address their needs. Ensure sales engineers are fully and effectively scheduled and utilized on
qualified opportunities to drive quota achievement.
Recommend & sell advance technologies including network security, wireless solutions, & unified
communications to state, local & education entities. Responsible for new license sales, new and add-
on services sales and annual software maintenance contract renewals for in-house developed
Enterprise Management Software, myMobileWorkforce, for Nextel phone users. Coordinating with
programmer’s to customize features on the Enterprise Management Software that best fit the clients
specific needs in addition to the core package, including GPS, Timesheet & Data Features. Utilize
knowledge of Systems (MCSE) Engineering, Designing the Cisco Network (CCDA), Business
Development, Technical Sales, MS Office, Marketing, Network Storage Solutions, Presentation,
Proposal, & People Management.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Commerce or Equivalent and 5 years of
experience OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Equivalent and 2 years of
experience. Employer will accept a single degree or a combination of degree, diplomas or professional
credentials determined to be equivalent by a qualified evaluations service.
