Have you ever wondered what a real vampire looks like? Some vampires can look like us and others do not. A
vampires eyes and skin can be very revealing to the naked eye. My research has taught me that real vampires
will be pale skinned and their eyes will have a red-like tinge around them. When you see any of these
characteristics up close, it may be too late for you to scream or run for your life.

Contrary to seeing muscular vampires on the cover of romance books, they are actually skinny, but powerful.
Some may be have a muscular structure because of their genetics. Why are they skinny you may ask...it's
because they do not live on food like we do, but instead, they thrive on blood! If the vampire does not get any
blood in their system they will wither away and die. Each culture has different views of vampires. For instance,
they can appear as inhuman looking creatures or spirits. Some vampires only appear at night, while others
appear only during the day. Keep in mind, much of what I have just written can be looked at as pure speculation
or the real deal, I'll let you be the judge.

The ability for vampires to change form can allow them to hide in our world. If you were to meet a real vampire
who has already feed, you may walk away with your life, but if you meet one that is starving to death, then you
will have your blood sucked out of your body so fast, you'll black out into the world of the dead. I do not consider
myself to be an expert on any of these matters, but I do like to research, which is mainly for my horror writing
endeavors, so I know someone may find some of my findings helpful.

I think most of us can agree on the characteristics of a real vampire, but some of you may want to visualize your
vampire as Ed Cullen, which happens when you are young and all you hear about is Twilight this and Twilight
that. Most kids will grow out of this Twilight stage and I know I will receive some hate for speaking my mind on
this, but ten years from now, people will look back at this article and realize I stood my ground on a very
important subject.
