INTRODUCTION

It basically covers skills in speaking, Listening Skills, Speaking Skills, Reading Skills and Writing Skills.
Such skills every once closely associated with the other three skills. In
we typically acquire language skills through an orderly sequence of relations: first, in childhood we
learn to listen, or listen to the language, then speak after that we learn to read and write. Listening
and speaking we learn before entering school, while reading and writing to learn in school. The
fourth skill is essentially a unity, a single chess. Brerhubungan read closely by listening, in case both
are to receive a communication tool.
Reading is a process that is undertaken and used by readers to get the message, which was about to
be submitted by the author through the medium of words or language tulis.Membaca can also be
interpreted as a method that we use to communicate with ourselves and sometimes with other
people. When reading we make a noise in our throats, we akn speak faster if we know how to say
and classify these sounds. Therefore, teachers have an important role to assist and guide students to
develop and improve the skills they need in membaca.Guru can help teach students the sounds
(language) and the meanings of new words, enrich vocabulary, understand sruktur word meaning-
structure, and improve students' reading speed.

DISCUSSION

A.Deskripsi Reading
 According to the "Hodgson"
Reading is a process that is undertaken and used by readers to get the message, which was about to
be submitted by the author through the medium of words or written language.

B.Tujuan and Aspects of Reading
A. Purpose of reading
The main purpose of reading is to seek and obtain information, including the content, understand
the meaning of reading. However, there are many more goals of reading, namely:
a. Reading to discover or find out the discoveries made by the hero, what has been created by the
hero, what has happened on a special character. Reading is called to read to get the details or facts.
b. Reading to find out why it is a good and interesting topics, issues contained in the story of what is
learned by the hero. Reading like this is called reading for main ideas.
c. Read to find out what happens in every part of the story, what happened at first the first, second,
and seterusnya.Ini called reading to find out the order and arrangement, and organization of the
story.
d. Reading to discover and find out why the characters feel like they way it is, what to diperlihakan

e. Reading to discover and find out what is unusual about a character, what was funny in the story,
whether the story was true or not true. It's called reading to classify or categorize.

g. Reading to discover how the character can be changed, how different from khidupan life as we
know, how the two have similarities erita. Read like this disbut reading to compare or contrast.

2. Aspects of reading
By and large there are two important aspects of reading, namely:

c) The evaluation or assessment of the content and form.

A. Reading Loud
Reading aloud is an activity or activities that are a tool for teachers, students, readers or jointly with
others or listener to capture and understand the information, the author's thoughts and feelings.
A good reader aloud usually eager to communicate something important to his listeners. Something
important may be new information, something that brharga experience, a clear description, the

of ways, including:

c) He explained the unity-unity of mind in the preparation of a sentence with the words right and
good.
