All Year Content:
     Explore environmental issues in the world
     Integrate cross curriculum concepts to improve students’ skills in the areas of
      reading, writing, math, and social studies
     Relate and apply science concepts to students’ technical field of study

Environmental Science Goals:
     To become aware of and concerned about the total environment
     To develop the knowledge and skills to work towards solutions to current
      environmental problems and to prevent new ones
     To understand how his/her everyday lives evolve around their use of the natural
      world and the resources it provides
     To be aware of his/her dependence on a healthy environment
