A well-balanced diet and regular exercise are the best ways to stay looking young and healthy. Include fruits
and vegetables that are high in vitamins, minerals and nutrients for beautiful skin. Antioxidants, found

variety of red and dark fruits, help your body repair the damage done by free radicals. Get plenty of protein
from healthy sources, such as lean meat, tofu and nuts. Nuts also contain the unsaturated fat that is known

decrease cholesterol levels and help maintain healthy levels. Get an adequate amount of water to keep your
body and skin hydrated. The best exercise programs should be enjoyable to keep you motivated to continue
exercising. A mix of cardio, weight lifting and stretching exercises can keep you in great physical condition.




When taking care of your skin, be sure to wash, moisturize and exfoliate. Use a mild cleanser that can be used
every day. Avoid any products that contain alcohol or leave your skin feeling greasy. Alcohol can dry out your
skin, while added oil may clog pores. Wash your face every morning and never go to sleep with make-up still on

to be in the sun for an extended amount of time, use a special sunscreen designed specifically for use on the
face or wear a hat. Most of the visible effects of aging are cause by sun exposure. Excessive exposure to the
sun's ultraviolet rays can also lead to skin cancer, which affects people of all ages.




While make-up should help you achieve your goal of improving your appearance, it should also be fun. Choose a
high-quality foundation and use a foundation brush to apply it smoothly and evenly. Your foundation comes into
direct contact with the delicate skin on your face so make sure the ingredients do not cause clogged pores.
Use mascara that makes your eyelashes appear longer and thicker. Apply lip balm to keep your lips soft and
free from dry skin and use blush to accentuate cheekbones and give your face a healthy glow. Experiment with
eyeshadow and lipstick for different looks.
