background watching and learning. Now, I was watched. the Resurrection, that
Now, I was teaching. It did not dawn on me that I had because of Jesus our lives
anything that I could share until that moment. are never the same again.
This is when I realized that: May we have the courage to
     1. I am responsible for my choices, there is no one share our faith in Jesus with
else to blame. others! Blessings to you all
     2. I do have great men around me to show me how to this Lent and Easter…
         be a servant leader.
     3. Other people are watching my actions and learning God’s Peace,
         from me (men AND women).
The process of Stewardship follows the same path:
     1. You choose to take responsibility for your actions.
     2. You choose whether or not to learn from the
         servant leaders around you. __________________________________
     3. Your actions are being watched, and others are
         learning from you.
What do you want the world to see? What will be your
choices for today?

                            Peripateo. You can find this
Greek word for walk throughout the
Bible. If you read carefully, you’ll find
that it has a double meaning.
Peripateo is used in the literal sense,
meaning to “walk” or “walk around.”
More commonly, however, it refers to
our walk as Christians. You can find it in Ephesians 5:2,
something we say every Sunday. “Walk (Peripateo) in love
just as Christ loved us, and gave himself for us, an offering
and a sacrifice to God.” Oddly enough, St. Aidan was,
himself, a walker. He walked from village to village,
spreading the message of Christianity. When the king
offered him a horse to make his life as a missionary easier,
he gave the horse to a beggar, and continued on his walk.
Today we join him in that walk, supporting all those in our
community whose lives have been touched by cancer and
spreading the love of Christ in the Cy-Fair community.

       TWO PROJECTS FOR LENT
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY & NETS FOR LIFE
During Lent we are going to be sharing with you two
service projects that we would like everyone to be a part of.
The first is a project with Habitat for Humanity. We will be
getting little houses from them that you can collect your spare
change in. On Sunday May 1st we will collect those and add up
all of the change and give it to Habitat for Humanity to build
houses in the Cy-Fair area.
The second project is called Nets for Life through
Episcopal Relief and Development. These are mosquito nets
that are taken over to Africa to protect families from
mosquitoes that carry malaria. Each net is $12, which includes
education on how to use them. We have a goal of one net per
family and a stretch goal of one net per person. We are joining
the whole Diocese of Texas in this project and together we
hope to sponsor 30,000 nets!
Come to the Wednesday worship services to hear more
about how you can serve others through these projects as a
part of your Lenten disciplines!
