            OCTOBER 2009 NEWSLETTER
 _______________________________________________________
A General Meeting was held on August 15, 2009 with 19 homes represented in person
or by proxy establishing a quorum. The treasurer's report showed a July ending
balance of $ 3,917.91, that the required financial audit was conducted in July showing
no irregularities, and 82 homes joined the association this year.

The topic of speed humps for Woodway Drive was brought up by homeowners due to
speeding in the neighborhood. The Board investigated this option and found out that
the County Neighborhood Traffic Calming program has not had any funding since
fiscal year 2008 and has been discontinued. Therefore, speed humps are not an option
and we encourage all drivers to be considerate and simply obey the speed limit in our
neighborhood. Thank you !
