Carolyn Damon is an executive partner with Gartner Executive Programs. Her 25 years of experience bridging

Most recently, Ms. Damon was CIO for GE Capital Financial, where she helped build a startup, 100-person,
$14 billion industrial bank, establishing and leading all IT strategy and operations. She held numerous
progressive positions during her tenure with General Electric, including strategic initiatives director, technology
development director and senior technical team leader. Prior to GE, Ms. Damon was a consultant for
Electronic Data Systems, where she owned the IT infrastructure for a Fortune 100 global client. She began her
IT career with a passion for introducing and educating others on IT, both in the corporate and government
training areas. This offered her the opportunity to spend seven years in Europe supporting both the United
States Air Force and Corp of Engineers until she returned to the U.S. and corporate education.

Ms. Damon's industry experience includes financial services and insurance, government, corporate education,
and consulting. Areas of particular expertise and interest include leadership, strategic planning, innovation,
governance and regulatory, portfolio management, quality, IT organization, and talent development.

Toon Geensen is a vice president with Gartner Executive Programs. He leads the service delivery team for
Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux). He manages a team of former CIOs and seasoned IT
practitioners and is responsible for ensuring service delivery excellence and strategic business development
across the region.

Geensen brings more than 25 years of experience in IT to his role as a trusted advisor, coach and senior
consultant to some of the company’s largest global clients on topics including the CIO role, strategy,
innovation, organization/sourcing, process optimization, architecture and governance. He uses his extensive
experience to help CIOs develop superior strategies to achieve meaningful results in their businesses.

Prior to joining Gartner, Geensen worked for KPN in various roles, ending as board member and CIO of a
Belgian KPN subsidiary. He was one of the founders of the CIO office at KPN and managed large-scale,
innovative cooperation programs with firms such as Philips, ING and IBM. Geensen was also involved in
professionalizing IT procurement in KPN. He has experience in back-office payment operations in the banking
field from a nine-year tenure at Rabobank Nederland, where his last role was deputy head of demand
management.

Bill Jenks is a vice president and executive partner with Gartner Executive Programs. He brings 30+ years of
experience in the IT industry to his role and an outstanding track record of leading IT transformational change
within a variety of industries. Prior to joining Gartner, Jenks was executive vice president and CIO for Safeco
Insurance, where he was responsible for the development of a five-year strategy to overhaul Safeco’s legacy
environments and develop the next generation of competitive platforms.

Before Safeco, Jenks served as executive vice president/CIO worldwide for Publicis Groupe, the fourth-largest
communications group in the world and the world’s largest media counsel and buying group. Jenks
demonstrated effective leadership and ability in merging two separate worldwide IT organizations into one
consolidated enterprise IT organization.

Jenks came to Publicis (B/com3) from Heller Financial, where he served as executive vice president/CIO and
president/CEO of Heller Technology Solutions, a separate consulting practice that he founded. He led the
effort to develop an enterprise IT strategic plan and gained approval of proposals and resources to execute
strategic direction.

Prior to that, Jenks was the executive vice president/CIO at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In this role, he
established and executed a strategy for migration of the Globex Electronic Trading System to a new
generation of solutions that leveraged technology to fulfill the requirements of electronic distribution, trading
functionality, scalability and availability. In addition, Jenks has held executive positions at Space Systems Loral
and Northrop Grumman.

Mr. Jenks has spoken on the subject of technology and strategy and planning on numerous occasions. The

Waller came to Gartner as part of the META Group acquisition, where he led CIO-level research on
transformational change as part of META Group’s Executive Directions service. This included publishing a
significant primary research, multiclient study entitled “CIO as Enterprise Change Agent,” conference speaker
engagements and serving as an expert analyst in numerous industry press articles on this topic.

Waller has more than 20 years of experience in driving business results and achieving measurable value from
IT-enabled transformation. He has held both IT and business leadership positions within end-user and IT
service provider Fortune 100 companies, including direct responsibility in the major disciplines of strategy,
governance, IT portfolio management, e-commerce and CRM. He is a hybrid business/IT leader and

Prior to joining META Group, Waller held a variety of IT and business leadership positions at a Fortune 50
company, including responsibility for IT strategy and governance, ERP strategic sourcing, as well as two years
in a business role leading CRM within the online channel.
