The Casualty Actuarial Society has named Roger M. Hayne president and Ralph S. Blanchard president-elect, both serving a one-year term. Jennifer Schaeffer has joined Wells Fargo Insurance Services Inc. in San Francisco as senior broker, professional risk group, focusing on directors and officers liability insurance. Ms. Schaeffer most recently was director, Nordic region, for Carpenter Moore Insurance Services Inc. Willis Group Holdings Ltd. has named Joshua King senior vp, group marketing and communications, in New York. Most recently, he was chief spokesman and vp of communications and community relations for The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. Michiel Bakker has joined Willis Group Holdings Ltd. as managing director and head of Europe for its capital markets and advisory unit. Mr. Bakker, who is based in London, was most recently managing director and head of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Bank of America Corp.’s financial institutions group. Aon Trade Credit U.K., a credit insurance brokering unit of Aon Corp., has named Phil Simmons commercial director and Kevin Finch senior client director, both based in London.
