Dear Sir/Madam:
I am interested in applying for the Application Consultant (SAP BPC) position that you have
posted on the Workopolis.ca website on September 3, 2010.
I am currently employed at Canadian Pacific Railway as a Revenue Planning Analyst and as a
result of my experience in this role I believe I am a well qualified candidate for the
responsibilities of the Application Consultant (SAP BPC) position.
As described in my resume, the primary responsibilities of my current role involves the
consolidation, preparation, analysis and reporting of the company’s freight revenues and key
metrics. My role also involves coaching and supporting a wide range of personnel within our
organization in the use of SAP BPC. My knowledge of SAP BPC comes from my involvement
in the development, testing and implementation of CP's new Revenue Planning and Reporting
system in Q3 2009. My responsibilities during that time included designing and testing BPC
reports, testing input templates, applying fixes to failures found during testing and data
validation in BPC Reporting.
I believe the experience I have with SAP BPC along with my current duties and responsibilities
would be assets for the Application Consultant (SAP BPC) role. I am a proven self starter with
strong attention to detail and proven to excel at learning new technologies to meet changing
environments.
I would enjoy the opportunity to work for Performance Analytics and I am available at your
convenience. Please contact me anytime at 403-875-0833 or email me at amng82@gmail.com to
arrange a time to discuss this opportunity. Thank you for considering my application. I look
forward to hearing from you.
Yours Truly,
Alex Ng
