Sportsmanship should be a coach’s/team manager’s primary objective. Sportsmanship should be
demonstrated at all times and be considered the most important thing a coach can teach his/her
Players/parents/guardians will be treated with respect, both own and opponents. There will be
times when a player needs to be disciplined or have their behavior corrected. This should be done
in a constructive manner. Try to criticize in private and praise in public.
Referees should be treated with respect at all times. Coaches have the right to question a call
made during a game, but this should be done in a professional manner.
Cursing is not permitted during practices/games.
All coaches/asst. coaches/team managers are being asked to sign this form. It is each individual’s
responsibility to abide by each of these rules and if not, it is the right of the board to reprimand the
individual in a way that the Board of Directors feel is necessary.
Coaches will respect the rules of soccer and will not teach “dirty play”. If a coach is thought to be
teaching players this type of behavior they will be removed from a coaching position immediately
by the Board of Directors.
Smoking in and around the fields is prohibited. No alcohol should be consumed prior to games or
