JUSTICE RUTH BADER GINSBURG SCHOLARSHIP
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholarship was established by the National
Association of Women Judges in 2008 to honor the legacy of the second woman to serve
on the United States Supreme Court. Justice Ginsburg’s life story and extraordinary
professional achievements illustrate her core values of scholarship and commitment to
public service. This scholarship will honor and perpetuate Justice Ginsburg’s legacy by
recognizing the achievements and commitment of a law student who exemplifies the
values that have guided Justice Ginsburg throughout her extraordinary career.
The Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $5,000 to
a law student who demonstrates the following qualities.
The Recipient shall demonstrate excellent writing skills and a cumulative GPA of 3.0
2. Commitment to Public Service
The recipient shall demonstrate participation in activities evidencing a strong and
sustained commitment to public service.
