News and Information from Your Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
OUR MISSION: Significant and relevant gains are achievable in a student’s academic performance, behaviour and motivation when there is a strong team involved directly in children’s education programs. The St. Norbert Immersion Advisory Council is a non-profit group dedicated to supporting quality education for all students at St. Norbert Immersion School. The parents of St. Norbert Immersion School, in partnership with the principal, teaching staff, school trustees and community representatives continually strive to communicate, share ideas and work together to achieve this aim.

A special “thank you” goes out to all of the volunteers who helped out with the Annual SNI Fall BBQ held in September – it was wonderful to see so many people from our school community!
Canteen News…
The SNI school canteen provides a wonderful service to our students but we need your help… Our Nutrition Committee is looking for some assistance in the health/nutrition aspect of SNI. If anyone is interested in helping out from time to time with specials in the canteen, food preparation, etc. or if you would like to come out to share ideas and be a part of the nutrition committee please contact the school office. The nutrition committee meets three of four times during the year – the first meeting date has not yet been determined.
Lunch and Milk Cards…
Also a reminder that lunch cards are now available at a cost of $25 (for regular size lunch portions) and $30 (for the large lunch size portions). Each card buys 5 regular portion lunches or 5 larger portions. Milk cards are also available - $20 for 36 white milks or $20 for 30 chocolate milks. Order forms are available at the school office, or send a cheque to school with your child with a clear note of what you would like to purchase. Cheques are preferred as it makes handling/accounting much easier.
