                       NIST is strengthening America’s innovation, trade, public safety and
                        security and jobs.

                       The new technologies that are determining the global winners of the 21st
                        Century such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, information technology,
                        and advanced manufacturing depend on NIST-developed tools to measure,
                        evaluate and standardize.

                       NIST helps train large and small US companies on standards to help them
                        become more competitive.
