Overall responsibility for fundraising activities that generated 35% of $1.7M budget for premiere pro bono legal advocacy organization.
Planned and implemented funding initiatives and programs, including special events, proposal generation and reporting, and donor cultivation
and solicitation. Developed and managed corporate, foundation, and individual giving programs and relations. Identified new funding
sources. Interfaced with legal and corporate communities for guidance and resources. Developed and led United Way Campaign, with
agency listed among the top donor-designations in the region. Responsible for successful Annual Benefit Reception with 400 attendees and
average net revenue of $175,000. Participated in budget planning activities with Executive Director, accountants, and Board Finance
Committee members. Produced content for newsletters, website, e-mail blasts, special events, and solicitations. Supervised Development
Assistant and oversaw all Raiser’s Edge database functions and processes, including gift entry and acknowledgement, establishment of gift
entry systems and protocols, mass mailings, report generation, and reconciliation of Raiser’s Edge financial data with accounting system data.
Left for family leave and pursuit of Masters Degree. Currently consulting on special projects and events.

Area Health Education Center (AHEC), Atlantic City and Bridgeton, New Jersey
Continuing Education Coordinator from July 1989 to January 1999
Generated and coordinated continuing education programs and conferences on cutting edge medical and social topics for physicians and other
allied health and human services professionals. Solicited institutional partners for program development and implementation. Wrote and
designed newsletter and developed promotional materials to market professional continuing education programs. Managed community
service rotations for medical students and facilitated training sessions to supplement their field experience. Planned and implemented health
career programs for inner-city youth. Project was eliminated due to budget shortfalls.

Biofeedback Group, Inc, Berlin, New Jersey
Biofeedback Therapist from May 1988 to July 1989
Assessed conditions of patients acquired through referrals. Developed and implemented pain and stress reduction programs for up to 35
patients per week. Left in good standing to accept subsequent position.

Big Brother/Big Sister Association of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA

District Coordinator from February 1980 to September 1983
Progressive increase in responsibilities from District Coordinator to Area Director. Interviewed, supervised, and trained staff members to
recruit, select, and manage volunteer mentors for disadvantaged youth. Managed five social workers in four separate sites located throughout
the city. Administered both daily operational activities and long-term agency goals and objectives. Held regional leadership position to
promote and support inter-agency partnerships and cultivate new leaders and managers. Left in good standing to accept subsequent position.
