                                          SOARING EAGLE DAY CAMP
                                                   SUMMER - 2012
ELIGIBILITY: All Weston boys and girls presently in Kindergarten school year 2011 - 2012 through going into grade 3 school
year 2012 - 2013.

DATES: Friday, June 29th through Friday, July 27th, 2012 (4 weeks). No camp on Wednesday, July 4th.

TIMES: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

LOCATION:        Hurlbutt Elementary School. Please drop off and pick up in the sundial drop off at Hurlbutt School.

ACTIVITIES: Arts and crafts with Carrie, head teacher at Saugatuck Nursery School. Our field trips are on Tuesday and
Thursday. We journey to venues such as: Compo Beach, Imax Theater, Nutmeg Bowling and Bounce Center, Danbury Duck Pin
Bowling and Shelton Mini-Golf. In addition we schedule a cook out and a pizza party. There is an extra charge for these special
days and field trips to be paid in cash during the first week of camp. Swimming at Bisceglie-Scribner pond.

STAFF: Carol Ireland, Kelli Ireland, Sarah Stevens and Chuck Simone are returning again as directors and activities heads.
Counselors will be high school and college students.

EQUIPMENT: Campers should bring a bathing suit, towel, cold drink and lunch every day and should wear comfortable
clothing. All equipment, clothing, lunches; etc. should be clearly marked with child's name. Your child will be issued a camp
tee shirt which must be worn the days of field trips.

FEE:    $900.00. We cannot pro rate for missed days or weeks. No credit cards accepted in the Recreation Department. No
registrations held by phone. Please register early.

REGISTRATION: Online registration: Begins on Monday, April 30th at 12:01 a.m. at www.westonct.gov. Payment made by
credit card only. Early registration is encouraged and recommended. This program will fill up quickly. Prior to registration
online make sure you have your Web Trac user I.D. and password set up.

                             AFTERNOON CAMP FOR SOARING EAGLE CAMP
                           1:00 - 3:00 (SOARING EAGLE P.M.)


ELIGIBILITY: Boys and girls currently in Kindergarten (school year 2011-2012) through currently grade
2.

DATES: Friday, June 29th through Friday, July 27th, 2012. No camp on Wednesday, July 4th.

TIMES:    1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

LOCATION: Hurlbutt Elementary School. Drop off and pick up at the sundial.

ACTIVITIES: Soaring Eagle P.M. program will offer a variety of fun activities for girls and boys. Some
of our daily activities will include: Lego building, window painting, face painting, cooking, indoor and
outdoor games, science experiments and water activities.

EQUIPMENT: Every day campers should bring an afternoon snack and cold beverage. Comfortable
clothing and sneakers should be worn.

                           WESTON ALL AMERICAN SPORTS CAMP

                                                     SUMMER – 2012


ELIGIBILITY:     All Weston boys and girls entering Grade 3 through entering Grade 7 in September 2012. We accept
registrations based on grade only; we cannot consider birth date or grades repeated.

DATES: Friday, June 29th through Friday, July 27th, 2012 (4 weeks). No camp on Wednesday, July 4th.

TIME: 8:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day.


LOCATION:        Weston High School. Drop off at 8:45 a.m. in front of the High School gymnasium and pickup promptly at 3:00
p.m. at front of High School.

ACTIVITIES:       This is a reasonably competitive sports camp, geared to children who display a sincere interest in team sports
and fun competition. Campers are formed into teams for such sports as basketball, softball, baseball, and floor hockey. There
will be swimming this summer at Bisceglie-Scribner pond only from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Please bring
bathing suit and towel.

STAFF: Dennis Whalen, teacher and college coach will direct the camp. Counselors will be high school and college students.
Middle School PE teacher, Steve Santora will be joining us again as activity head counselor as will Tom Ehret and David Powell.

EQUIPMENT: Campers should bring a hat, baseball glove, swim suit, towel, lunch and cold drink every day. We provide a
refrigerated place for lunches. Participants should wear sneakers; we will provide two shirts and an equipment bag, which must
be brought each day. All equipment, clothing, lunches, etc. must be clearly marked with name.

FEE:    $925.00 for the full four week camp. We cannot pro rate for missed days or weeks. If space is available part time
options are the following: June 29th – July 13th - $475.00 or July 16th – July 27th - $475.00. We will accept a maximum of 80
campers. Our camp registration will end June 15th or if our maximum has been reached prior to this date. Please register early!

Tuesday, April 24th at 10:00 a.m. in the Recreation Dept. at 47 Norfield Rd. if space is available. No credit cards accepted in the
Recreation office for walk in registrations.



If space is available online registration for part time campers begins on Tuesday, May 8th at 12:01 a.m. You may register online
for Session 2: June 29th – July 13th or Session 3: July 16th – July 27th. Fees for each two week session are $475.00. If space is
available Walk in registration for part time campers begins on Tuesday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Recreation Dept. at 47
Norfield Rd. No credit cards accepted in the Recreation office only.
