As we all know that children love to fly remote control devices such as helicopter, boat, planes
etc. Remote control devices have changed the way of playing for the children. So let us understand their
mechanism of flying.

RC PLANE :-

RC planes fly due to torque created by the propellers attached to the motor.Generally brushless motor is
used as it produces more torque/v. Basic RC planes have elevator named part that controls the altitude
of plane at which the user wants to fly. Basic RC planes have ailerons named part that decides the
direction of plane.

RC HELICOPTER:-
RC helicopter also have the same principle of flying as by planes. These also uses brushless motor to
create flying torque for the helicopter. But the direction are not mandatory as the plane because in
helicopter pitch and direction are maintained by 'SWASH PLATE'. Swash plate is consists of two plates
connected horizontally with ball bearings in the middle gap. The main part for controlling the pitch and
direction is 'SERVO' motor. Servo motor changes the swash plate according to the information received
from the transmitter and hence the helicopter moves to that pitch or to that direction.
