Over a three-year period, our office has been directly responsible for the collection of over $2.1 Million Dollars in delinquent
property taxes for Durham County, using the mortgage-style tax foreclosure process. These figures do not include collateral special
assessments and demolition liens which were also collected in the same cases for the City of Durham. Since 2006, our office has
been directly responsible for the collection of over $125,000 in delinquent City of Durham special improvement assessments.
