Applications are invited in the prescribed format for filling up one post of
Director in Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy(CCRYN), New Delhi,
an autonomous research organisation under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,
Department of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi in the pay Band-4 of
Rs.37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs 8700/- and other usual allowances,
admissible as per Central Govt. Rules. The CCRYN is an apex body in India for
formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research in the field of Yoga
& Naturopathy and to utilize the findings in treatment of various diseases/ disorders.
The Council carries out its activities and functions by financing the eligible hospitals
etc. throughout the Country. We are looking for a dynamic bright researcher who has
achieved excellence and is dedicated to the cause of research in Yoga and

Deputation (including short-term contract) from the officers of the Central / State
Government/ autonomous bodies/ Research Institutions / Public Sector Undertakings /
Semi Government statutory or Autonomous Organizations funded by the Government
for tenure of 5 years or till the incumbent attains the age of superannuation, whichever

qualifications, experience etc. prescribed for the post will also be considered,
subject to the condition that their tenure for holding the post of the Director will
remain the same as applicable to those who are to be recruited on deputation/short
term contract basis.
(a) Degree/Diploma of minimum 4 years duration in yoga and /or Naturopathy from a
M.A.(Yoga)/M.Sc.(Yoga) from a recognized University.
(b) 16 years experience in research or teaching in Yoga and /or Naturopathy
holding analogous post in the field of Yoga & Naturopathy on regular basis.
having a minimum five-year regular service in a post in PB-3 Grade pay of
Rs.7,600/- or equivalent /corresponding pay scale as applicable to the post.
having Nine years regular service in a post in PB-3 with Grade Pay of
Rs.6,600/- or equivalent / corresponding pay scale as applicable to the post
a. Administrative experience;
b. Original contribution in the fields of Yoga/ Naturopathy;
c. Original publication in Yoga/ Naturopathy;
d. Published research work in the form of standard research papers in Yoga/
e. Ph. D
