         History of Mission
 In 1906 the mission San Francisco De Asis
  survived its first fire.
 When father Francisco Palou was at the
  mission it was only five days until the
  Declaration of Independence was signed.
 The making of the mission was not until
  church documents came.
           Interesting Facts
 In 1761 Father Paulo chooses to leave the
  mission.
 In 1760 the Mission took hits from
  earthquakes.
 The mission is in fact the oldest building in
  CA.
           Special Features
 The Indians had many crops around
  them.
 They had over three different Indian tribes
  around them.
 They also had many different kinds of
  animals.
