A $30.00 discount is available if fees are paid in full within 30 days.
There is no charge to come and it out for two weeks to see how much fun it can be!

Black-soled sneakers and street shoes are not to be worn for fencing as they are
forbidden in the gymnasium; wt shoes must be left in the hallway.

 Food and beverages may not be brought into the gymnasium and change rooms
should be used when changing into sports attire

As Club equipment is limited, fencers are expected to make some equipment purchases
during the course of the year, we can help you decide what type of equipment to get
and assist you in the process.

Our Fencing season typically runs from September to April each year in the UPEI gym.
There are fencing tournaments you can go to in the Atlantic Canada and beyond, some
of which are held as late as July.
Saturday: 9.00 AM to 10.30 AM Young Blades
          9.00 AM to 11.00 AM Intermediate and Advanced

Tuesday 7.30 PM to 9.30 PM Intermediate and Advanced

Private lessons with our Head Coach Phil Stewart can also be arranged.

If this registration form is not signed, fencing privileges cannot be granted.

                                      Notice of Warning
There is a potential risk for injury involved in training and participating in fencing, and we
have tried to create and safe controlled environment for sport participation. The coaches
and officials have established rules for participation and conduct on and about the
playing area that must be obeyed under all circumstances.

                                 Acknowledge of Notice
I, the undersigned Fencer1, have read and understand the above Notice of Warning. In
full knowledge of this, I hereby release forever the University of Prince Edward Island
Fencing Club (UPEIFC), the Prince Edward Fencing Association Incorporated from any
responsibility or liability for permanent injury sustained by me (or results thereof), or for
any damage sustained by my equipment and/or property, no matter how caused.
